Offensively, the biggest takeaway from the preseason is that Chase is garbage. Hopefully, we won't regret not upgrading backup QB.
He is garbage but I trust a backup like him more because the gameplan in any game he plays is gonna be tailored to mask his suckiness. If Mitch missed significant time we are screwed. But if Daniel has to spot start a game or two, like last season, I'm not too concerned about it.
I was pleased to see it though and he was pumped up for it. Maybe the kicking woes won’t be the nightmare that was Parkey. Watching this after the fact, did Indy also sit all their starters? It’s really tough watching 4 games worth of what would normally be just the fourth preseason game. There’s zero chance Mitch plays next week, so his preseason consisted of a series of handoffs.
