Way off topic. but here goes.

I live in Yucaipa California. (pop 40,00) By southern Calif standards, that's a small town.

Well, the Antifa people showed up here last night. Didn't end well for them. They organized this little gathering on Craigs list. The locals saw that and showed up in the same parking lot. Words were exchanged, then rocks flew, and the locals proceeded to kick the living crap out of them :knuck: and sent them home with their tails between their legs. :vik:

    I love this town !!!! :SEP::bet:

Were they aiming to simply protest or were they aiming to riot? What was the context of the craigslist post?

When Antifa shows up in small numbers they mean to throw stones at shops and shit. It happened here on Locke street in Hamilton a few years ago for the dumbest reason. There's enough info there to look it up if you want.

No, not always. I know some folks that call themselves Antifa and, while angry, their protests are always peaceful without looting and violence.

Not every violent protest is from Antifa even though the media says different.

Back home near where I was raised in a somewhat wealthy, and mostly white area, area of Illinois called Naperville there were some folks going around town posting up hearts with BLM written on them. The people doing it could be considered Antifa members because at least some of them were wearing shirts that proclaimed them as such.

They were confronted by white members of the community that had some really vile things to say to them and went around tearing down the hearts they had put up.

Not every thing that happens in reality fits in with what the media, both sides of it, will lead you to believe.

They never got the chance to start anything.

The context ?? And I quote....

" make the rich white folks in Yucaipa sufer." Which is funny because I've lived here for 32 years and I don't know any rich white people. All the rich people live either in Redlands or Palm Springs.

For f***'s sake. Don't being InfoWars on here. If you're going to be crazy and unstable enough to have it in your own life, at least make sure you don't waste our time with it, too.

Yea, I know. Alex Jones. But the video is real. I get my gas at that store. In my defense, I saw it on Drudge report, then when I clicked on it, there was Info Wars. What do you do ??

Drudge is also heavily biased, evidenced by their linking to InfoWars.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just saying that InfoWars sure isn't going to help anyone sane agree with you.

Good to know you're not an InfoWars supporter, though. I knew you weren't far gone like that, SoCal.

If their intention was violence....then they got exactly what they deserved.

I know, I know. Your not the first person to say that. But that was the only place that I could find that had the video.

I'm pretty sure they came here looking for trouble. On Facebook, there was a running war of words for two days leading up to that night. We have a population of 40,000 or so but it has a small town feel to it. And we like that and we will defend this community.
