when is Sam Bradford going to get fired up and the coaches for the Offense, want to see a different Vikings team against the Packers so sick and tired of the ho hum mind set GO VIKINGS
Did Vikings running back Adrian Peterson come back a bit too soon? The 30-year-old told reporters on Wednesday that he was not sure he'd be able to suit up for Saturday's divisional matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Wisconsin. He was officially listed as having knee/groin injuries on Wednesday's team injury report. "I'm taking it day by day," Peterson said, via The Star-Tribune. Peterson made his return a week ago in a blowout loss to the Colts. He underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in late September and, true to his form, recovered in time to play before the end of the season. Peterson ran the ball six times for 22 yards against the Colts and added one catch for a yard. At this point, it might be fair to wonder what Peterson's plans are for the future. Should he remain in Minnesota, it's hard to imagine the Vikings settling with an $11.75 million salary plus a hefty roster bonus next year. Peterson showed flashes of the running back he used to be on Sunday but is still a good offseason away from reaching full strength. By opening day of 2017, he will be 32. The Vikings are struggling up front, which adds to their dilemma at running back. Peterson, for years, was one of the few backs talented enough to negate poor play ahead of him. If that isn't the case anymore, what are the Vikings to do as they rebuild their tattered front five? Minnesota still has a very slim chance of reaching the playoffs and that starts with beating Green Bay on Saturday. At some point, coach Mike Zimmer and his staff will have to decide if Peterson can be a part of the near future and the distant future as well.
AP i fear as a Vikings has come to an end 11.75 million and a hefty bonus that's alot green!!,i'm really upset with Tricky Ricky for just wasting AP good years with a half azz O-line lousy qb in PONDER what a WASTE,if other teams can find a rb why can't the Vikings i hope they can find a Matt Birk type of player boy was he missed...right now don't know what to expect
i have to admit he did play well again the O-line let the team down,Defense played well but got worn down some serious soul searching has to happen on the coaching staff...i've had it with Tricky Ricky he's got to go the Vikings have suffered under his leadership AP is a rare type of rb he just wasted him i'm so pissed off
i thought Newman was a Zimmer guy what he went rouge..has he lost the locker room i don't think he has! but something is going on here why aren't they getting any better
is it just me to do the old same old and expect a different out come is crazy,it looks like Tricky Ricky ain't going no where after the Ponder/Tricky Ricky/Frazier mess and the O-line mess this past year I REALLY!!!!!!!!!! AM AMAZED HE STILL HAS A JOB...i want to see this off-season if he can bring players here enough of the standing like your stuck in cement time to be an elite team....the Bears game is very important for players its not just a ho-hum game!
the Vikings MUST get some starters with some muscle on the O-line,so far so good..Happy New Year, why didn't he throw the ball into the endzone? fg is good Redzone problems ( sigh )
man i hope the injury bug stays far away next year, cause having to deal with Tricky Ricky is tough enough add the injury bug it is a nightmare..Howard is a BEAST!
just got back 38 to 10 looks like the game is in hand, another 8-8 year again when are the Vikings going to get a football GM
