This question was asked of Mike Wobschall about the linebackers and I thought his answer was right on target. Question - Answer - Greenway, Brinkley and Barr should be a whole lotta fun to watch develop. Their going to be good.
i think the Vikings will be alot better then people think..and the Defense will be just fine and the Offense has Ponder really gotten better??,why do some football players act a fool when there being paid big bucks to play a game it makes no sense to me ( i hope this works been having problem posting )
Work's just fine. I hope your right about them being better. Still not sure what their going to do at quarterback. I'm not sure they know what their going to get either. Looks like it will be a very important camp and preseason games. We may not know who the starting QB is going to be for a while yet.
well i kinda hope it's Cassel maybe just maybe Norv Turner can work with Cassel and be the QB he was in New England, the battle imo is who will be the back-up Teddy Bridgewater or Ponder...i really want to see improvement with lb's Barr will be a big help the coaching staff will see to that, preseason should interesting it's a brand new era
finally it looks like Greenway is getting some help..and he can help the lb's be all they can be,it looks the Vikings O-line and D-line looks like it will be better, but the NFC Central looks be to a whole lot better..the BEARS and PACKERS and LIONS and VIKINGS seem better

I agree. The[del]Central[/del] North is still tough and making decent improvements. The Vikings will go as far as they can handle their divisional schedule. The Lions are going to be better too. I like what they have done. Very solid division. lol @ Central
Kyle Rudolph said in December that he wanted to be a "Minnesota Viking for life." On Sunday night, the tight end took one step closer to making that happen. The Vikings announced that Rudolph has signed a five-year extension with the team. According to FoxSports.com, the five-year deal will pay Rudolph $36.5 million. ProFootballTalk added that the deal basically includes $19.456 million in guaranteed money. The 24-year-old will get a signing bonus of $6.5 million, along with a base salary of $956,343 in 2014. The rest of guarantee comes in the form a $12 million injury-only guarantee which Rudolph will get if he's on the Vikings roster on the third day of the league year. Rudolph can also earn another $3.5 million in bonuses, which could potentially bring the total value of the contract to $40 million. "I'm extremely excited to get this extension completed and continue my career with the Minnesota Vikings. I've said all along I wanted to stay in Minnesota," Rudolph said. "I love the fans, the community and, most importantly, I'm excited about where this team is going. I'm looking forward to the 2014 season and helping this organization reach our ultimate goal." The Vikings tight end led the team with nine touchdown catches 2012, a total that led to Rudolph earning the first and currenly only Pro Bowl appearance of his three-year career.
