I hope the Vikings put as much effort into fielding a winning football team as they have into building a new stadium and getting a Super Bowl here. I don't want to end up like Dallas fans. The Cowboys built a big beautiful stadium for the Steelers and Packers to play a Super Bowl.
Well, I think they are. Things appear to be headed in a new and right direction. I sure hope they have their heads screwed on straight. lol...Thats a fine piece of art Jones built in Dallas. Just hosting a SB is money.
well thanks...so far it seems to be going well,it really makes me mad that AP was just wasted instead getting better they got worse year after year at least HC Zimmer has a plan and from what you said Bridgewater might just might the real deal hope so
Vikings Running Back Adrian Peterson Q: Are you excited to be in this offense? A: I am excited to be in this offense. As a whole, what Coach Turner brings is pretty amazing. If we are able to digest everything as a group, I think we?ll be fine. Q: Kyle was talking about playing now and not thinking about his foot, are you at the point at practice where there?s nothing in the back of your mind? A: That?s what I think, I?m well enough to go out and perform and don?t feel like I?m going to injure myself or hurt myself. I still have some work to do to get my strength back. I?m comfortable when I?m out there practicing. Q: How do you feel about catching the ball more out in space? A: I?m pretty excited about that, as a running back I?m looking to be more diverse in the offense and being more involved in the passing game is something I look forward to. Q: What?s it like to have the quarterback situation be a story as usual? A: It is what it is. I?m seeing guys are out here looking good and looking sharp. Bridgewater is looking good too. I was able to watch him. Our system is going to take a load off those guys. Q: What are your first impressions of Teddy Bridgewater? A: I?ve had a chance to sit down and talk to him, talked to him briefly. He?s a smart kid and looking into his eyes he?s hungry. He?s going to compete for a starting job. He?s going to really have to work hard; Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder are out there working and working hard to get that starting position. Q: What about Jerick McKinnon? A: I like the kid, I do. He?s quiet but he?s a hard worker. He?s a smart kid and a good learner which you can see during our meeting. He?s definitely picking up the offense well. I think he can really do some good things. Q: Last time we talked at minicamp you said that the offense was like performing heart surgery without a license. How do you feel now? Do you feel like your closer to getting a license to operate? A: Yeah, I?m definitely closer; I still want to practice on the side. I?m picking up the terminology more and more, it?s all about staying in that play book and understanding the terminology and breaking the play down, but it?s going well.
looking forward to Kyle Rudolph having a big year..Norv Turner likes to get tight ends in the game plan,i have no idea about McKinnon just have to wait and see.WHERE IN THE HELL WAS THIS BEFORE...Question why is Ponder still here it's the Zimmer era Ponder's a part of the Frazier mess
I heard he was a pretty mean clipboard holder, one of the best. Holds it right side up and everything. There is a rumor floating around that he actually can hold two at once. How about that? Seriously, from what Ive read, he knows the offense and they thought it was a good idea to have someone around that can step in in an emergency situation and run the offense. Thats my take on it. Besides, when Zimmer came on board, Ponder was the only signed QB they had. So there wasnt too many options, I guess.
it is what it is *SHADES* but i have checked out this Jerick McKinnon on you tube he plays qb throws a nice ball a pretty fast and and slick runner as a rb... all of the firepower Teddy Bridgewater has he doesn't have to be great just play smart football and finally there working on the Defense it might take a year or two so far so good
On Monday the Vikings announced that the club has waived CB Kip Edwards and claimed CB Julian Posey off waivers from the Browns. Posey appeared in 5 games for the Browns in 2013 and recorded 6 tackles and 1.0 sack. After going through training camp with the Miami Dolphins in 2013, Posey was signed by the Browns to their practice squad on September 2, 2013. In 2012, Posey appeared in 2 games for the Dolphins. Originally signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2011, he spent 15 weeks of the 2011 season on the Jets practice squad.
yeah i read about that some good news for a change..maybe just maybe they can put that love boat circus to rest,oh by the way thanks for link the stadium coming along

Both of last year?s starting guards return to the Vikings in 2014, but GM Rick Spielman and Head Coach Mike Zimmer have added bodies to challenge both Brandon Fusco and Charlie Johnson. Candidates include Jeff Baca, Vladimir Ducasse and David Yankey, among others.

This guy is OK in my book. Who takes 1 million dollar pay cut these days? They need to drop the #52 and put a large S on his jersey.
