Adam Schefter is reporting Aiuyuk is coming to the Steelers for a 2024 2nd and 2025 4th round pick. Don't know if I'm real happy if true... lot to give up, and he a free agent next year so big money coming his way... with the QB situation really only 1 year deals, could put us in cap trouble next year.. guess have to see how it plays out and if it's true

Just saw a report Aiyuk requested a trade. It was on Facebook so can’t speak to the validity. Aiyuk to Steelers chatter starting to heat up again ***Edit Looks like that report was wrong. Aiyuk’s agent said he hasn’t requested a trade at this time
I’m sure it will, but this seems like it would only be a 1 year rental for us, he’ll command too much money to stick, and I’m sure San Fran isn’t just going to give him away, especially considering they’re in a Super Bowl window
Only way a trade happens is if a handshake extension is already worked out. Not exactly the Steelers' style.
How about Deebo Samuel becoming a Steeler? Now that is a possibility. I wouldn’t mind getting him. I don’t like Aiyuk, but I like Samuel
With the salaries being paid to these WR, hard to believe trading for a WR with a $21 mil salary cap hit would set us up for success, and that doesn't take into account the $750,000 Per Game Roster Bonus as well. That's alot of money to find to make it work, and who'd we get rid of to be able to absorb a potential trade?
They wouldn't trade for him without a handshake agreement on an extension that would bring that number way down.
June first is here, are we going to trade for a WR or not? Metcalf, Samuel, Ayuick and Sutton all supposed trade candidates . Sutton would be cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
At this point I wish he would just sign a contract and be done so we don’t have to listen to these reports. But once the contract is signed, the Deebo to Steelers rumors begin. At this point, highly doubt any trade will happen
