http://www.baltimoreravens.com/gameday/season-schedule.html No Monday night games at all, 1 Sunday game Week 4 against the Steelers and a Thursday night game Week 2 against the Bengals. Not the easiest schedule considering the team is playing the NFC South this year along with the AFC West. Will be lucky to get to 10-6 I guess. p.s. It really sucks that there are no Monday night games,
REGULAR SEASON Sun., Sept. 9 BUFFALO BILLS 1 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 13 @Cincinnati Bengals 8:20 p.m. Sun., Sept. 23 DENVER BRONCOS 1 p.m. Sun., Sept. 30 @Pittsburgh Steelers 8:20 p.m. Sun., Oct. 7 * @Cleveland Browns 1 p.m. Sun., Oct. 14 * @Tennessee Titans 4:25 p.m. Sun., Oct. 21 * NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 4:05 p.m. Sun., Oct. 28 * @Carolina Panthers 1 p.m. Sun., Nov. 4 * PITTSBURGH STEELERS 1 p.m. Sun., Nov. 11 BYE WEEK Sun., Nov. 18 * CINCINNATI BENGALS 1 p.m. Sun., Nov. 25 * OAKLAND RAIDERS 1 p.m. Sun., Dec. 2 * @Atlanta Falcons 1 p.m. Sun., Dec. 9 * @Kansas City Chiefs 1 p.m. Sun., Dec. 16 * TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS 1 p.m. Sat. or Sun., @Los Angeles Chargers Dec. 22 or 23 * Sun., Dec. 30 * CLEVELAND BROWNS 1 p.m. A couple of thoughts. 1. I agree, no Monday night football. That is a little disappointing. Not that I liked MNF home games but it is nice to be a stand alone. 2. We really got a choice bye week. That is nice to see. Bye week then 2 home games in a row. Should make for a nice late season push. 3. We don't close the season with the Bengals for the first time in what seems like 13 years! 4. Only 1 long travel game in the season the west coast. I like that dynamic.
I'm seeing many saying that anything over 8-8 will be a struggle. I think that this season with all the offensive turnover it will be impossible to really know what ere are capable of Therefore, predicting wins (along with all other factors like injuries around the league) will be simply wishful (or pessimistic) thinking and mental masturbation. That said, here comes the wishful mental masturbation: BUFFALO BILLS - W (Ravens usually start out strong and it's at home. Assuming Joe can develop a rapport with his new WRs the Bills can be an easy target) @Cincinnati Bengals - L (Bengals might have lost quite a few pieces, but they struggle in Cincy and this probably won't change) DENVER BRONCOS - W (Broncos are rebuilding and have a new QB. Entering into M&T from the West I think think this could be a hard fought win) @Pittsburgh Steelers - L (Steelers get it done at home) @Cleveland Browns - W (the team is a total shitshow now and even with a great draft they'll still field rookies) @Tennessee Titans - L (Titans have built a tough team. The Ravens will struggle.) NEW ORLEANS SAINTS - W (Th Ravens own Brees. NUF CED) @Carolina Panthers - L (The run game of Cam & Co. will be too much to handle) PITTSBURGH STEELERS - W (Ravens take revenge. Steelers have not beaten the Ravens at home twice in a row in IDK how long - but its long) BYE WEEK CINCINNATI BENGALS - W (Bengals' struggle is real. A rare season where the Ravens sweep the Bengals) OAKLAND RAIDERS - W (Crabs gets to take revenge on his former team and the Ravens strike back against Carr & Co.) @Atlanta Falcons - L (Atlanta is still a force and the Joe drops one against his former draft mate) @Kansas City Chiefs - W (Ravens tend to do well against first year QBs. Mahomes is going to get schooled) TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS - W (Is this the year the Bucs pull it all together? Nope, at least not against Bmore.) @Los Angeles Chargers - L (LA is gong to be tougher and Rivers is desperately trying to get a SB berth before he retires. Tough loss here) CLEVELAND BROWNS- W (Shitshow continues. The Ravens own this team, but then again so do most right now. Let's see how/if this draft helps.) And there it is...an optimistic 10-6. Ravens keep pace with the Steelers for the AFCN title, but miss on criteria, and quualify for the post season as #6 seed.
