    Rules

    Contract Restructuring:
Owners may choose to restructure up to three contracts for any three players on their roster. All restructures will be done through spotrac.com's restructuring tool - LINK

Once an owner has decided which contracts he will be restructuring the player or players names will be posted to the Contract Restruturing thread as a record of the move. Owners may then change the dollar amounts on their spreadsheet to reflect the cap savings.

    Roster Cuts:
Any player on your roster is available to be cut so long as their dead cap money does not push your franchise over the league cap. You are responsible for making sure these numbers work, but if you have any questions you can message a commissioner to get the correct answers.

    Franchise/Transistion Tag:
A franchise player must be offered a one-year contract for an amount no less than the average of the top five salaries at the player's position as of the current year in which the tag will apply, or 120 percent of the player's previous year's salary, whichever is greater(the NFL formula also includes adjusting for the increase in cap). We will include a list of franchise, transition and RFA tag numbers so you don't have to calculate it yourself.

2018 Projected Franchise and Transition Tenders
    Position
    Franchise Tag Transition Tag
    QB $23,303,000 $21,007,000
    DE $17,636,000 $14,667,000
    WR $16,465,000 $14,206,000
    LB $15,469,000 $13,126,000
    CB $15,411,000 $13,217,000
    OL $14,538,000 $12,989,000
    DT $14,529,000 $11,698,000
    RB $11,724,000 $9,498,000
    S $11,081,000 $9,526,000
    TE $10,360,000 $8,624,000
    ST $5,056,000 $4,604,000

    Free Agency:
    1. All players that have been cut or reached the end of their contract, including UFAs, unsigned ERFA or untendered RFAs, will be available on the open market to the highest bidder.
    2. Tendered RFAs and players designated a transition tag or non-exclusive franchise tag can also be bid on but the tendering team may require compensation and also has the right to match the best offer.
    3. There will be no bonuses and all contracts will be on yearly average wage. We will not assume how many or how few years a player is signed with a team with the exception of players that accept their Tenders or players that are signed to a minimum contract. Those are all 1 year deals.
    4. All bids must be 10% higher than the last bid, rounded to the nearest $1000, or $1M more than the previous bid, whichever is lesser.
    5. Tendered players must be offered a value at least 10% over their tender or $1M more than their tender, whichever is lesser.
    6. When 48 hours go by without a bid increase then the bidding is over and the player is awarded to the team with the highest bid.
    7. You have 24 hours from a won bid to sign your free agent. If you do not sign him then he will be signed automatically. You may cancel your bid before then and the player's highest bid will be set to a prior value or restarted at the Commissioner's discretion. If you win the rights to a player but refuse to sign him you will no longer be permitted to bid on that same player.
    8. A player can't be signed to a minimum contract until a later specified date. At that point teams have 24 hours to make a minimum bid for any already bid on free agent or any new ones from this point on. If more than one team puts in a minimum bid without getting outbid then the owner of the minimum bid will be the team the player was on prior to free agency. If that team did not put in a bid then it would be randomized by the commissioner.
    9. You can never be over your adjusted salary cap.
    10. Please follow this bidding format to help us keep things organized within the thread. Post your new bid first, followed by the previous bid on the same player. Be sure to use the players full name.

    Example -
    The Giants bid on
    Axel Foley
    $1,000,000

    Previous bid
    The Raiders bid on

    Axel Foley

    2 - $630,000
    3 - $705,000
    4-6 - $790,000
    7-9 - $915,000
    10+ - $1,015,000

    2018 Projected RFA Tenders
    Type - Amount
    First Round - $4,426,032
    Second Round - $2,927,236
    Original Round - $1,915,602

    Draft Rules:
    Trading is allowed.

Each pick will be assigned a 30 minute timeslot. If you miss your pick one will be made for you. Moderators can delay or skip any team's pick at their discretion. Picks are usually only skipped if you missed picks earlier and haven't checked back in since.

Leave a list with a mod if you can't be around for a pick.

Whenever possible, try to set up trades before you are OTC so you are ready to submit them as soon as you are on the clock.

All draft selections made will be updated on the 1st page of the draft thread as soon as possible.

Please familiarize yourself with the PM system as it will be needed for all trade talk and communication with moderators.

    Trade Rules:
All player trades and draft trades must be submitted to a commissioner for approval. Both owners need to PM a minimum of one commissioner, preferably the same one, with the details of the trade. Once the trade has been approved it will be posted.
