I'm sick of negativity.... So I'm starting this thread to ask my fellow Browns fans... What are you EXCITIED for from the upcoming 2013 season? Here's my Top Three things that I believe we should be excited about: 1.) Chud and Turner - Finally, we should have an offensive system with big plays, immagination, and most importantly POINTS! 2.) T.Rich - I personally see 2013 being a big season for him, he's healthy and we have an HC/OC that should know how to use him (see #1) 3.) Aggressive Defense Under Horton - With the addition of Kruger (and hopefully some help in the secondary thru the draft) Hopefully we'll see an improved defense that gets after the QB and creates turnovers... HERE WE GO BROWNIES, HERE WE GO....
I am always a positive guy junkyard, quess that why I root for the Rams and Browns. Here is my take, don't take me completely apart SAS. I think Weeden will get a whole lot better with Turner. I don't know much about Chud but Turner I do, and that guy will go long so to speak. Just give the time and Weeds will be fine. Richardson will have another good year. He will keep every defense honest so Weeden and Turner can heave it. Turned has the offense to make it work for Richardson, in San Diego, the backs couldn't stay healthy.
I am excited about the future . the offense will be just fine IMHO . it is the defense i am concerened about . Weeds will make the leap this year with real coaching & a system that will fit his skill set . the WR will also make the jump after having a year or so in the league .
Anxious, for sure. Not a lot to get amped up about. This is a perennial disappointer we're talking about. But, in sticking with the theme... Trent Richardson Norv Turner has worked with two of the top five all-time greats at the RB spot. When it became clear Heckert failed to secure RG3, I was all in for Richardson. He ended up being very disappointing as a rookie. A year older and wiser (and with an O/C who loves to lean on power runners), I think Trent is poised for a huge year. I am really hoping we see that dominant, game-changing back we saw at Alabama in 2013.
