They just have too many options in PBurgh... In all seriousness though, you have to be impressed with the Steelers staying competitive despite ducking second contracts on almost all of their draft picks.
The Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a trade Wednesday that will send Pickens to Dallas for a 2026 third-round pick. The Cowboys will also send a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Steelers and get back a 2027 sixth-round pick. ESPN and NFL.com ______ I never thought Pickens would last this long in Pittsburgh.
Hope Jurrah didn’t want to keep him long term. He’s now saying he doesn’t want to do a long term contract, but rather wants to prove he’s a top WR then enter free agency. So it might be one and done.
Trey Sermon landed a gig in Pittsburgh... Its a 1 year deal. He joins a running backs room that includes rookie Kaleb Johnson, Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell. Sermon, 26, entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the 49ers in 2021. He spent one season in San Francisco, one in Philadelphia and two in Indianapolis. Sermon has 134 carries for 505 yards and three touchdowns in 42 games over four seasons. In two seasons as Jonathan Taylor’s backup, Sermon ran 110 times for 431 yards and two touchdowns. He played a career-high 245 offensive snaps last season.
