One of the Broncos’ key free agent signees won’t see the field for a while.

Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that linebacker Dre Greenlaw tore a quadriceps while working out. The injury could force him to miss a substantial portion of the 2025 season, per Chan.

It is unknown whether Greenlaw will require surgery to repair it.

The Broncos declined comment to Chan.

Greenlaw tore his Achilles in Super Bowl LVIII to end the 2023 season and missed most of last season before a brief return. He played only Weeks 14-15 before knee and calf soreness related to his Achilles ended his season.

Kittle me this, Batman! (sorry, I couldnt help it)

    upload_2025-4-29_8-40-48.png

Tight end George Kittle joined the 49ers for their offseason conditioning last Friday, which was a sign that his effort to land a new contract were moving in a positive direction.

They have now reached the finish line. According to multiple reports, Kittle and the 49ers have agreed to a four-year contract extension.

Kittle stands to make $76.4 million under the terms of the deal and there is $40 million in guaranteed money. The total value and average per year are the most of any tight end.

A report at the start of last week indicated Kittle and the team were far apart in their negotiations and Kittle did not report for the first days of voluntary work with the team. His appearance on Friday may have helped push talks to completion and it sets him up to push his run with the team to 13 years if he reaches the end of this pact.

With Kittle locked up, the 49ers will now likely move on to finishing a new deal with quarterback Brock Purdy.

The Falcons have made a decision on receiver Drake London.

Atlanta will exercise London’s fifth-year option, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

London was the No. 8 overall pick of the 2022 draft out of USC. He was the lone remaining top-10 pick from that class whose team had not made it publicly known whether or not the fifth-year option was being picked up.

London is now set to receive a fully guaranteed $16.817 million in 2026.

The young wideout reached 1,000 yards for the first time in 2024, catching 100 passes for 1,271 yards with nine touchdowns.

In 50 career games, he’s recorded 241 receptions for 3,042 yards with 15 TDs.

Whats cool is if you look at the track record of Kwesi, he has done quite well in this genre of UDFA's... Im hoping this continues this year as the Vikings have signed a few. Last years team had some really good ones. Its a real crap-shoot at times, but some GM's are good at crap.

Elway released a statement Wednesday night.

“I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the passing of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck,” Elway wrote. “There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me. My heart and deepest sympathies go out to Jeff’s wife, Cori; his children Carly, Sam and Jackson; and everyone who knew and loved him. Jeff will be deeply missed for the loyalty, wisdom, friendship and love he brought into my life and the lives of so many others.”

The Carolina Panther signed Hunter Renfro after some time off for Hunter... here's why Hunter was MIA for a season.

Why did Renfrow leave football? The temporary pause was about getting healthy. Renfrow revealed that he was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition ulcerative colitis, which caused him to lose weight and plagued him with fatigue and high fevers.

"It kicked my butt pretty good," Renfrow said, via the Panthers' official website. "Last year, I fluctuated in weight; I went down to 150 pounds. I had like seven straight days of 103-degree fevers. It's tough to play when you're not feeling great."
Now, Renfrow wants back in the league. He consulted with doctors to get his condition under control, and he's ready to compete for a roster spot.

"It's just trying to get back, trying to get healthy, trying to do something I love," Renfrow said when asked about the gap year. "I enjoyed other parts of life. We had our second daughter, so enjoying that and just wanting to make sure if I'm going to come back and give my time and attention to something that I was going to be all in on it."

Kicker Justin Tucker is no longer a member of the Ravens.

Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta announced Tucker’s release via a statement on Monday afternoon. The move comes a day after Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that an NFL investigation into misconduct allegations against Tucker was still in progress and that any decisions the team made about Tucker remaining on the roster would be football decisions related to drafting Tyler Loop in the sixth round.

DeCosta used the same language in his statement.

“Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances,” DeCosta said. “Considering our current roster, we have made the tough decision to release Justin Tucker. Justin created many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens history. His reliability, focus, drive, resilience and extraordinary talent made him one of the league’s best kickers for over a decade. We are grateful for Justin’s many contributions while playing for the Ravens. We sincerely wish him and his family the very best in this next chapter of their lives.”
