I went and got some fresh Guiness and a new bottle of Jameson... Ready for the next couple of nights... We can move on to Buillet Manhatten's and Tullamore's Godfather's on Saturday. Browns trade out of #2.... I hope not, but I have a feeling....
Nice. I got some Madri the other day. I might not actually drink too much today but I'll be drinking a bunch tomorrow for sure. Too tired trying to secure the new Nintendo LMAO. Had some fried chicken. Maybe a dirty pizza tonight.
It will be interesting to see how Green Bay pulls this off US Bank Stadium or SOFI Stadium would be awesome imo
Not what we expected lol Texans Trade: 2025 5th round pick (166 overall) 2027 5th round pick Browns Trade: 2025 6th round pick (179 overall) 2025 6th round pick (216 overall) 2025 7th round pick (255 overall)
Hijacked this for over here: He's QB3 on my board but, in this class, I believe he has the highest ceiling.
Been watching NFL Network since about 5 eastern, quite a few people are comparing him to Lamar Jackson, but most say he needs the coaching and some technical tweaks. Is the Lamar comparison a 'real' possibility? I wonder why these things are said about him, but he doesnt get the hoopla the other top dogs are getting?
He’s got a lot more work than the other 2 to reach the rafters, but the raw physical gifts are extremely rare.
Everything I've read said hard worker, great character. Can he pull a Josh Allen and become an efficient passer? p.s. I like the quick delivery.
That answers my question, lol. Personally, Id go high-ceiling in a heart beat, especially if you trust your QB staff to get the job done.
They showed a highlight earlier where he was under huge pressure, shook it off and flicked his arm and what amazed me was the perfect spiral with zip right into the the WR's breadbasket, who was also covered.
Lamar didn't get the hoopla either, 32nd overall isn't exactly hype... He isn't today's version of Lamar, if he was then he would get the hoopla. A LOT needs to happen in year 1, then progression in year 2, then etc.... If he continues progression, especially pocket presence, then he could end up the steal of the draft... Chances are still that he can't progress at his passing skill set and he never starts more than 20 games in his career. Coaches get 3 years, we've talked about it ad nauseum. If he goes to the Steelers, that will be his absolute best opportunity for success because they are so stable. Second best would be going to Baltimore and sitting behind Jackson for about 6 years. The older Lamar gets, the more his backup will play and when he starts losing his legs (most running backs don't go much past 30) Milroe will be in his prime for one huge payday. This is why I would MUCH rather wait until round 3 and get a Will Howard, zero pressure to start right away. He could learn a lot from Joe Flacco. But, in the event Flacco misses game time, he wouldn't be rushed in, Pickett would get the playing time in 2025. I don't mind being Debbie Downer when it comes to these QBs. It's exciting to talk about the what ifs, but reality is kinda depressing.
Came here to say this. It’s weird. Reads like Texans have some weird plan and might be taking some fliers late
