Falcons will again entertain the idea of trading Kirk Cousins. In theory a real trade wouldn't happen until after the draft, so I'm perfectly happy with a package that includes only future draft picks. It's all part of the role-playing scenario, and as the mock GM quite frankly I don't give a rat's ass if he's stuck on my roster for 2025. He's getting paid. Unless he's willing to waive the guaranteed salary, I'm telling him to STFU on his latest whines about being released so he can go elsewhere with me footing the bill for him to play for some other team. (And for that matter, his best bet for getting a starting job elsewhere is preseason or early season. If someone else around the league gets hurt, bingo - instant starting opportunity and quick trade. So Kirk... STFU and be a good teammate so the rest of the league won't see you as a money-grabbing, whiny little bitch. Help me trade your punk ass or you're going to be stuck as a backup all year - and maybe next year too.) So... he's on the trading block for future pick considerations.

Along those lines... @RTTRUTH and @LAOJoe - do you have any guidelines to share as far as rules for trades, autopicks or whatever? (I love the "yeah, whatever" vibe of not having rules posted... fits perfectly with my "4-20" mock from two years ago. But you guys are generally more alert and less confused and sleep-deprived than I am.)
You sure?? LoL Not anymore. I think we're both busier than we've ever been. Trades can be confirmed by both parties. One posts the trade, the other can quote it and confirm. Then you're good to go. No commish needed. We haven't actually discussed our autopick rules yet. I'm feeling surprisingly optimistic about this group. But I can tell you after likely round 2, I might skip autos altogether. I'll try to give you something more concrete tomorrow. My brain is indeed mush. I'm watching some tape in the background, but I'm having trouble focusing. But yeah I remember the first 2-3 iterations of our mock, we had rules for days. Lol
With the first pick of the 2025 NFL draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Cam Ward, QB, Miami. Would love to mix it up here, but this is the pick all day. We finally have a QB who can execute an offense of any sort. I love that Ward has tons of starting experience, seen multiple schemes, and has grown in level of competition.
I have to admit, Ward is kinda growing on me and I think the Titans might surprise people with the following pick they have and would be such a smart move.
