First 3 rounds found what I hope to be starters this year or next and then depth and high potential guys with plus traits elsewhere.
CLEVELAND BROWNS 1 2 Abdul Carter, EDGE - Penn State 2 33 Omarion Hampton, RB - North Carolina 3 67 Quinshon Judkins, RB - Ohio State University 3 94 Harold Fannin, TE - Bowling Green 4 104 Will Howard, QB - Ohio State University 6 192 Jack Kiser, LB - Notre Dame 6 200 Connor Colby, OG - Iowa 7 255 Pat Bryant, WR - Illinois TRADE 6.179 to the Patriots for Kyle Duggar, S TRADE 2026 5th(possible 3rd) to the Falcons for Kirk Cousins, QB I know this will be a draft that few agree with. I know they are going to need weapons to move the ball this year, so I did my best to provide options. Carter will immediately help a defense that was very good just two years ago and have most of the pieces from that defense intact. Two RBs in a row is an anomaly that just doesn't happen these days, but I felt the value was too good not to shore up the RB room that has such a huge hole left by Nick Chubb. It will take both, imho, to elevate the offense without a huge QB upgrade. If Cousins can play anywhere near his pre-injury status, they could make some noise. If he doesn't, well.... 2026 won't come soon enough.
Wow, I didn't even notice that while I was writing it... Pure coincidence, I had a board that I stayed true to. Would have loved a couple of players from out west and possibly a couple more from the south, but it didn't work out for me.
Houston Texans: 1.28: Josh Simmons OT/Ohio State 2.58: Tre Harris WR/Mississippi 3.94: Shemar Turner DL/Texas A&M 4.130: Damien Martinez RB/Miami 6.216: Yahya Black DL/Iowa 7.236: Marcus Wehr iOL/Montana State 7.241: Chandler Brayboy WR/Elon Texans draft had some moving around, but solidified the offense with a new franchise LT, WR to replace Tank Dell, and a back-up RB who can develop into Joe Mixon Part 2. Disappointed the iOL value wasn’t quite there earlier, so it may be a bit patchwork. Turner and Black address the biggest hole on the defense hopefully with two different shots. Small school 7th rounders to develop. Baltimore Ravens: 1.27: Grey Zabel OL/North Dakota State 3.75: Billy Bowman S/Oklahoma 3.91: Kaleb Johnson RB/Iowa 4.113: Ty Robinson DL/NEbraska 4.129: Logan Brown OT/Kansas 4.136: Savion Williams WR/TCU 5.176: Caleb Ransaw CB/Tulane 6.183: Myles Hinton OT/Michigan 6.203: Gavin Bartholomew TE/Pittsburgh 6.210: Jamaon Dumas-Johnson LB/Kentucky 6.212: Nazir Stackhouse DL/Georgia 7.243: Ben Sauls K/Pittsburgh Lots of picks, and we kept moving down. Zabel gives an iOL or OT option while Bowman can develop into a starter to allow Kyle Hamilton to freelance. Johnson was too good of a value as a Derrick Henry part II and help relieve him a bit more this season. Addressed depth elsewhere, though Savion Williams unique skillset may come in handy this year. Also new Kicker. Goodbye Justin Tucker.
