Helll yeah... I'm in... just to have to catch up. I know picks are on page 1. Is there a sheet for available/taken players?
Came extremely close to taking him 5 picks ago for the Saints. Physically/athletically looks like a 1st round grade, i was mostly scared about him not being able to catch, which Bears fans have painful recent experience of with Velus Jones Jr, who's biggest career achievement to date was giving himself the nickname Ferret King in Hard Knocks last summer. Ferret King since got cut and ended up with......the Saints lol.
And you know what in this world we have Hunter as well as Diggs so if anyone thinks they can salvage Ja’Lynn Polk we’ll listen on him, too.
We only post the taken players in the spreadsheet at the top of the first page. You can use the search bar and the player's first, last, or whole name and it may help you track down if they have been taken a little quicker.
I heard a couple of interesting rumors of late... 1) The Giants are trying to figure out how to take Hunter at #3 overall and find a way to come back up for Sanders. 2) The Steelers love Milroe. It's smoke screen season so who freaking knows. My "favorite" plan for the Giants this offseason involved getting Rodgers and then getting Milroe and letting him sit to develop. Having Rodgers meant he wouldn't have to see the field at all this season and the Coach/GM can probably save their jobs for a year while Milroe rides the pine. The Winston/Wilson pairing still leave that possibility open. I have 0 idea if Milroe will develop into a franchise QB -- but if Daboll is the QB whisperer it was said he was when they brought him in (And let's be honest he found ways to make Daniel Jones look competent and win games with Tommy Devito at QB...) then Milroe should be tantalizing for him. Guy lives somewhere in the range of Highend Tyrod Taylor to Poor man's Josh Allen with turbo boosters. Best high end potential of everyone I see this year... just um... a long developmental pipeline and a real low floor.
I’m super infatuated with Savion Williams and strongly considered him on the Pats last couple picks. A lot of good WR value to be had at this point. Pats probably have too much resources sunk in the WR room at this point, but I might just be forced to grab another one soon.
Barnicle Bill invented the find a tough little tough fucker over the middle with Edleman and Welker so Restrepo fits that mold for me.
The Velus Jones thing is why he was only the #3 on my list for Miami rather than the clear choice. The one you took was 1A with the one I got as 1B. Kinda comes down to the system fit thing again as well as how you stand on your roster and how comfortable you are going boom-or-bust at this point in the draft. Purely on measureables and potential, Savion Williams would be a great choice in the second round. But there's this little problem about actually needing to catch the ball, and another minor thing about running clean routes.
