I didn't notice Underdog was waiting. Probably because the owner wasn't updated on the board. Don't forget that after trades.
Just doing a bit of house keeping here now i've made a DL pick of my own. I nearly took this guy at #93 myself and his range in various rankings is wild. I've seen him as high as 50-60 and as low as like 190! That is such an enormous difference. I know you guys already had a discussion about various ranking lists and who is good and who is crap(my outsider takeaway was no consensus lol), but players like this guy really bring it home to me the subjective nature of it all.

Final post about that #93 selection: Interestingly, i had it as a coin flip between these two who i made 1A & 1B in my PM to Tim. With the D scheme change coming to the Saints I felt another 5 tech DE was needed to help round out the room. There's prob someone great i missed cos im not as good at this stuff, but i had it down to Gillette & Robinson. Robinson, in my humble opinion, has a lower floor but has greater positional flexibility and will be a better scheme fit. I have Gillette as more pure talent with a higher ceiling but a more prototypical base end in an even front. It may take work for him to fit as a 5 tech and may not work out. I'm normally the first one saying scheme fit is massively under-valued but here i've basically gone against myself. If i could throw it out to the group, would the claim of Gillette having more talent than Robinson find agreement? Do you think Gillette went too low overall? i kinda thought he was a solid 3rd round type pick?
I'm adamant that system fit is seriously undervalued - but we're both just taking guesses with new coaches and system changes. Unfortunately that's business as usual for Atlanta. We now have our fourth DC in four years and ninth in twelve years.
Yes not sure how rigidly Staley will want to stick to the 3-4, particularly in the first year of transition on a team with plenty of holes. When Staley was at the Bears with Fangio the were listed as a 3-4 base but would frequently play with 4 man fronts, so who knows. If nothing else the Saints were i believe bottom12 in sacks last year and will have a year older Cam Jordan. They need more youth and talent rushing the passer. If Gillette has a good camp/offseason he will find his way onto the field. BTW....9 in 12, holy crap.
9 in 12 years is nuts. My Giants are a paragon of instability since 2012 and they have gone through 7 in that period of time. 4 one and done DC's is BRUTAL.
Okay, per late night message: Ravens select Logan Brown - OT - Kansas Texans select Damien Martinez - RB - Miami @EvertonBears otc
