As someone way more up on the draft than me, you wouldnt place him above KJ would you? Maybe i have mis-evald but were u surprised KJ stayed on the baord so long? Dont you think he'll be gone much sooer in the RL draft?

I think both Sampson and Kaleb go Day 2. The order (and when they go off) will depend on teams drafting and their systems. I'd almost think of KJ and Sampson as two different positions. Both were solid values IMO

Honestly, in a deep class it might depend how many teams feel forced to spend their top 90 selections on “more premium” positions (OT/Edge/CB/WR).
After the consensus top 2, you get into a pile of maybe 4-7 guys teams might evaluate differently. I’m guessing 3 for sure go between 35-75. But will enough teams want to invest that capital at RB when they might have round 4-5 sleepers?

It’s one of the more intriguing storylines this year for me

I’m starting to feel this is one of those classes where I’d prefer having four picks between
75-100 vs having one in the top 5-30

Checking in... I'm at least halfway here. Need to check/update to see who has been taken for Miami's pick, and also multitasking with work items.

Swinson is a stud! Dallas would have taken him at 12 but it seems the new DC wants big body d ends. Good get and I hate that it was for Philly.

I actually fucked this pick up earlier. I missed his name when I quick checked my list for KC after the trade down and took Zah.

Mainly the comparison with them both being considered locks to be taken as the first WR in their class, early in the process.

Both were physically larger players (one heavy, one tall) that I had/have concerns with athleticism.

If Tet's 40 time is closer to 4.55 than it is to 4.45, that is a legitimate difference for a player with his skill set. He makes a living with his hands in tight spaces, with a wingspan that is not the largest, or getting behind DBs in a manner that I have doubts of him replicating as a pro.

I think he will be drafted outside of the top 10, possibly the top 16, and I can see him not being the first WR taken.

He may need to make his living as an Anquan Boldin type, which means he needs to get stronger and tougher.

I think Laquon ended up #5 on my board for that draft.

I'll keep reranking them until I'm comfortable with the list, which usually happens when I run out of time and the draft starts, but he is currently not the #1 receiver on my board.

    He's not #2 either...

    Not number 2!

To me he could be number 1- depending on a teams needs- but Golden seems to be the highest ceiling type player and is more of the WR 1 of this class (excluding Hunter for he is a unicorn) but I don't see Egbuka higher than Tet.

For a team looking for a number 1 WR- I don't think Egbuka or Tet are there, they are both 1B types to me and great opposite a guy like CD in Dallas.

Seeing a lot lately that says burden is falling, I can see him at 4, I am a fan of Tre Harris and of Higgins but I think I have Burden over Harris and Higgins.

No I have Kaleb Johnson rated a round higherthan Skatebo, to each his own. Yeah think KJ fell a bit too far, watched Iowa twice, kid is a good back will be a solid pro. One thing about Iowa kids, Kirk Ferentz has them mostly NFL ready and not a lot of character issues with that program. What I think is that the run on backs will be in the 4th, Real Draft. I am not a stat guy, just a guy feeling that after what Philly did to K.C. GM's will stick to the basics, building the lines with big powerful dudes. Look what Saquon Barkley did once he had some all pros blocking for him. But there are 5-6 backs that are studs ready to start, those are the guys going in the first two days. This is a great class for TE's too, lots of value in every round. The other player that I feel fell too far was Mason Taylor the TE from LSU. The kid from Toledo was very productive, Fannin, but he's not the next Toledo Rocket to start week 1. He fell exactly where he should have, and congrats to IrishDawg I think he's a good prospect.
