J.J. Watt to call games with Ian Eagle for CBS J.J. Watt is reportedly moving into a new role for CBS during the 2025 NFL season. Andrew Marchand of TheAthletic.com reports that Watt will move from the network’s studio show to a game analyst position. Watt will work with Ian Eagle as part of CBS’s No. 2 team. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo remain the network’s No. 1 team. Charles Davis has been Eagle’s partner, but CBS announced on Wednesday that he will take over as their lead college football analyst when Gary Danielson retires after the 2025 season. Marchand reports that CBS is still determining Davis’s role for the 2025 season. Watt, who called a game on Christmas for Netflix last year, began working in the studio for CBS in 2023. PFT
Ravens coach John Harbaugh won’t be leaving Baltimore any time soon. The Ravens announced today that they have reached a three-year contract extension with Harbaugh. The 62-year-old Harbaugh has been the Ravens’ head coach since 2008. He won Super Bowl XLVII after the 2012 season and was named NFL coach of the year for the 2019 season. He has a record of 172-104 in the regular season and 13-11 in the postseason. Baltimore has been as good as any team in the NFL the last two regular seasons, going 13-4 and 12-5 and entering the playoffs as strong Super Bowl contenders both years. But the Ravens lost in the divisional round to the Bills last year and the AFC Championship Game to the Chiefs the year before. The contract extension shows confidence from owner Steve Bisciotti that Harbaugh can get the Ravens over the hump in the AFC playoffs and win another Super Bowl. PFT ____________ Probably signed a blank check.
For those of you who didnt know, like myself, the UFL is on FOX tonight at 8 Eastern. The St. Louis Battlehawks at the Houston Roughnecks.
it better improve cause it boring the UFL having no FANS is like WTF the XFL was more exciting and it had FANS
Last year the St. Louis Battlehawks drew over 40K for the opener in St. Louis... The UFL should have had the opener in St. Louis. I dont have any numbers, because they arnt available yet, but that crowd might have been 4 or maybe 5 thousand (and Im being generous), tops. Pretty limp. Ive no clue what FOX drew with ratings, or whatever, but i dont see this as sustainable at this pace or point, especially with FOX needing sponsorship. IMO, you cannot compete with the NFL or NCAA Football no matter what time of year it is... its just not going to happen. MLB baseball just got underway 2 days ago, so they had that in their way also. Better to leave Spring and Summer football to the CFL.
Another boring game to watch unless your playing then it's FUN i just like to play but there are some people that are really serious
It almost seems like last year they weren't supposed be that good they were picked to be last place in the NFC North but they almost won the Div. now Colin Colward?( sp )says the Vikings have the worst roster in the NFC North but the Vikings always wind up being pretty good that's why look at disrespect as an honor this kind of talk happens every year
