I’m not disagreeing with your pick. They were exposed in both of those losses. The exposure also was a huge gap in the running game. The inability to run at all put them in bad situations repeatedly. When the Chiefs can run, they’ve proven unstoppable. This RB room just isn’t that good. Not to say you can’t get one later, just as we can’t say you couldn’t get an O-lineman later. I was just worried the value might be too much to pass on.
oof That run of 3 is rough for Dallas- on the short list for this pick, all 3 where on it. Really think if Donaven Jackson was sitting there Dallas would have to take a hard look. I don't really want to spend this pick on O line, giving what they have already invested in the position, but thats a real nice 2nd round pick. Tyliek Williams is a draft fav of mine, an absolute wall for the Nose Tackle position.
Did anyone contact The Jets dude Dcat? I would rather run early than late. 2 posters have my cell # So if I get busy they text me.
Dallas is otc right after the 49ers we would be interested in a trade down to acquire a 4th round pick we don't have Hit me up.
30 minute time slots. Spreadsheet is on page 1 of this thread, first post. We tend to get ahead of schedule, so check in early. You can make your pick as soon as the picks ahead of you are in.
30 minutes per pick, but they are scheduled. We are way ahead right now, next pick scheduled for 4:00 PM
Just an FYI, I think @LAOJoe is usually back on early afternoon. If you have something to do, you could check back around 2:00.
no worries, the other one of these I have done had the clock restart when a pick was made so I was thinking I needed to get my stuff together quickly. I don't mean to hurry him, and I will wait a bit to see if anybody wants to come up.
That idea has come up before, but everyone here is way too busy for that to work with us. So we go with the schedule approach. We also recommend leaving lists with your top two or top three choices for an upcoming pick if you know who you want. @LAOJoe and @RTTRUTH are frequently around and good choices for sending lists. (They'll be hosting another mock of their own after this one ends.)
I will give it until about 12:30 then I will make my pick Dallas would like to move down and get a 4th round pick if possible. Would be open to other offers if that doesn't work.
Was definitely in the top 3 options for Rams if I had not gone QB of the future approach. As was Barron, and Burden
My top realistic options keep falling to the 49ers. Seattle had me a little worried for a bit after passing on OL and WR in the 1st round but I ended up with 3 guys linked to them in the 1st (and some in the 2nd but I didn't think they'd fall in the mock or possibly will IRL). The foundation of the draft is set for both teams about as good as I could imagine to get it and now it's time to find supporters and gems.
