The Vikings home schedule is TOUGH the AWAY not to bad they can't afford to stumble or have a slow start or the AWAY games can become real headache for the Purple and Gold

    He’s back.

Vikings safety Harrison Smith will (via NFL Media) return for another season in Minnesota — his 14th in the NFL. He’ll make $10.25 million, with up to $3.75 million in incentives.

A first-round pick in 2012, the 36-year-old Smith has spent his entire career with the Vikings.

    He’s a six-time Pro Bowler. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2017, and a second-team All-Pro in 2018.

Smith has appeared in 192 regular-season games with 191 starts. He has 37 career interceptions.

Smith has had an impressive 13-year career so far, accumulating 1,126 tackles (15th among DBs), 48 tackles for loss (ninth among DBs), 43 quarterback hits (tied for first among DBs), 37 interceptions and 96 pass deflections.

Along with those impressive numbers, Smith has also been named to six Pro Bowls, one First-Team All-Pro, one Second-Team All-Pro and even finished fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2017.

    H O F, period!

The Vikings have agreed to terms with free agent offensive tackle Justin Skule, Alec Lewis of TheAthletic.com reports.

Skule will provide insurance for left tackle Christian Darrisaw, who tore an ACL and MCL in a game against the Rams on Oct. 25.

Skule played all 17 games with five starts for the Buccaneers last season.

He spent his first three seasons with the 49ers, who drafted him in the sixth round in 2019. He appeared in 31 games with 12 starts in San Francisco.

Skule joined the Bucs in 2022 and played 35 games with five starts in Tampa.

Rondale Moore from the Falcons is visiting the Vikings today, he's little dude with breakaway talent, I like him, but, let's get and go after hard for Cooper Kupp. Imagine, Jefferson, Addison and Kupp, dream come true for McCarthy and myself, personally.

    Over or under
Your defense giving up 50 ypg rushing?
You signed two of the best defensive linemen in the whole league let alone FA.

It looks good what they did defensively, especially in the trenches. New blood and the return of Harrison Smith is great also in the secondary. Flores has some tools to play with, should be a very stout defense barring injuries.

The Offensive line is getting a new look also and for the better, in my opinion... its just the QB that worries me. Frankly, I think McCarthy will do well, but if something goes wrong, thats where the missing piece to the puzzle still remains.

Its really looking like a team that can be a deep playoff if not SB contender, but McCarthy must shine and stay up-right, or it will get ugly.

Vikings ought to just hire Joe Flacco and Id be willing to bet he'd come cheap. He's 40, not mobile, but he still has an arm and he's football smart. Nor really a nut case like you know who.

People sleep on Flacco IMO. Gotta cut down on the TOs a bit, but he has the history.

WR Rondale Moore agrees to terms with the Vikings

The Vikings have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Rondale Moore, the team announced Wednesday.

Moore, 24, visited the Vikings five days ago and also took trips to the Jets, Titans and Bears.

Moore was traded from the Cardinals to the Falcons ahead of the 2024 season, but he injured his right knee in training camp and missed the entire season.

Moore, 24, was a second-round pick of Arizona in 2021, and he spent three seasons in Arizona.

He had 135 catches for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns with the Cardinals, while also running 52 times for 249 yards and a score. Moore also saw time as a returner in his rookie season.
