I mean, they did draft Kenny Pickett in almost the same spot. Very uninspiring group of QBs this year. Based on extremely limited research, I’ve heard Howard would be the best choice for the Steelers this draft if they pick one. Wouldn’t hate it if the plan was to make him the backup for the foreseeable future, but will honestly be a little surprised if they draft a QB before Day 3

Dude, you learn from mistakes, so Dart at 21 is a mistake that's my humble opinion. Bigger needs if they sign a vet. The DL cannot stop the run or get pressure up the middle. WR are running free in the pourous zone. Najee didn't have many holes and when he saw one he danced. Wilson got old overnight, couldn't move in the pocket, locked onto target 1, then was swarmed by would be sackers.

My comprehensive plan is at least 2 young DL than move people and an OL with upside. Then WR and RB. When the round and player match go CB. Maybe Trice is a diamond in the rough, and maybe Ryan Watts heals up nicely and you got your 6th DB. But there are a handful of lockdown CB's in this draft, a real good class. There are some stud D Linemen and a shitload of RBs. WR is a weak class, but not pathetic. TE is a strong group, just not a need. I think the Kahn man figures out some of these pieces in free agency. For now all the mocks I do are just an exercise getting me familiar with 200+ prospects so I don't sound retarded on draft day. I'm going to keep doing mocks all the way up to the draft, and I am really looking forward to the combine to sort out some of the question marks I got, here is a few.

What is the cone time for Kenneth Grant, if he truly is a dancing bear, which according to Bruce Feldman, he will be a freaking freak.
How fast will Golden run compared to Egbuka and Burden who I bet will be much slower than both of them.
Tre Harris, will he run 4.4. or 4.5, can he stretch the field.
Just how good are some of these massive tackles, mainly Hollin Pierce & Anthony Belton guys who are round 3-4 prospects.
How do these CB's do in the backpedal and mirror drills. Every year I say the same fucking thing, watch the 3 cone drills.
How do Walter Nolen and Derrick Harmon measure up assuming Grant could be gone at 21.

So my focus is on big fucking dudes. I mean look what the Eagles did with Becton, who was a bust with the Jets (man that's a long list going back to Gholston). A huge ass dude who moves people. Also the Ravens got themselves a monster with Faalele. (6-8 380) Ravens also drafted a guy out of UConn the homer in me really liked, DT Travis Jones who just eats up the middle and they stole him at pick 76. Pittsburgh sat around and got the sloppy seconds in DeMarvin Leal, who has shown that drafting guys with long arms doesn't always equate to good DT5. That whole class of 2022 was just a cancerous tumor that started with Kenny Mittens.
We got Pickens and Austin, not a horrible draft, Little Heyward is a good football player, but like the whole brotherly connection with Derek Watt, I think he can be upgraded. There are jack shit for fullbacks in 2025 this current team certainly could use another Dan Kreider or Tim Lester.

I like this one! Got a DT1 a DT5, Huge OT, A real good edge rusher (tell me Sweat did not make Mahomes beg for his mommy) A QB with size, a CB with Length, and a bell cow back. And I like Tre Harris. Plus I got a 2nd in 2026 from Rams so we can move up for Drew Allar in 2026

I personally don’t see Grant falling that far, but would be ecstatic. After the Super Bowl, athletic DT stocks go up. Big Tre Harris fan as well.

Truth brother , we will be lucky if Grant is there at 21. Steelers need a dancing bear in the middle

This is a pretty solid effort ^ Not sure why Welles has dropped that far.

Injured his foot, then re-injured it. First time he injured it, actually required surgery. Thats all I can think of.

Thanks for the update Willie. Every time I find 'a guy" he either falls like Enron stock or Rockets up like bit coin. I should save some of these rankings from November just to see all of the risers and fallers.
