Without the benefit of hindsight, I was fine with the Wright pick as Carter had too many question marks attached and one of them was his seemingly low snap count, and the Bears couldn't afford to gamble. With the benefit of hindsight, the Bears would have possibly solved their problem at 3-tech but in the year 2025 would have zero to build on along the offensive line. As much as I like the kid even if there was a way to acquire him in the near future reasonably, I'm not convinced he would be a good fit with this current team, and his services would still be a gamble.
