Not only did the 49ers ban De'Vondre Campbell 3 games, but they've also cleared out his locker and ripped his nameplate down, lol. Im guessing he's done in San Fransico... figured that out all by meself.

 

Next week is going to matter so much. The Eagles vs Commanders won't mean much for the division as the Eagles just need any of 5 results between the 2 teams to go their way but it will matter for their hunt for the #1 seed. Vikings vs Seattle will matter for both team's division hunt and Atlanta/Washington's wild card hopes. Speaking of those teams, they both play each other the following week and if Atlanta wins that it can get crazy, especially if Tampa doesn't lose a game to give the division lead back to the Falcons. As for Detroit they will be in fine shape for the division if they and Seattle win as the Vikings will essentially be two games back at that point with 2 to play. That would also hurt the Eagles as the Vikings could rest vs the Lions with the 5 seed locked up.

The AFC isn't as exciting but the Bengals and Dolphins have paths to win out and the Broncos could easily lose out. Colts are also alive but they probably need the Dolphins to win out with them. Contrarily, the Bengals have the most obvious path but they don't want to be part of a 3-way tiebreaker as they will surely lose them all. The winner of the Chargers vs Broncos would essentially be a lock even if other results don't go their way.

 

The Seattle game makes me very nervous they just seem to have the Vikings number they play them tough but they find ways to lose

 

If Sam Howell is their QB the game will be over by the first quarter

Coach Raheem Morris, who has said Cousins won’t be benched for rookie Michael Penix, Jr., spoke more bluntly than ever regarding Cousins’s performance.

“He’s got to play better,” Morris told reporters after the game, via Josh Kendall of TheAthletic.com. “We have to find a way to get him to play better. We have to play better at the quarterback position.”

 

I will take the Vikings vs ANYONE else… except the Ravens…

 

My line of thinking was the 0 fer 4 thing. Steelers, Chiefs, Raiders and Dolphins during the 70's.

This season its Chiefs and Steelers out of those 4 that have a good chance at making the Show... and either of them would be a dream come true for me IF the Vikings could play them and have a shot at some sweet revenge.

Whole lotta football left all stuffed into just 3 more games, a lot can happen.

In the NFC Playoffs, homefield is gigantuous... I have nightmare recent memories of what the Eagles can do, and going to Ford Field is going to blow goats also. Anything is possible this time of year, but the Vikings getting some games at US Bank Stadium would be ideal.

Lot of stuff needs to happen, the stars need to align, but I'll never give up hope.

Flores is a good DC. He deserves another HC job but I don’t know if he will even be considered again because of what happened in Miami.

 

Same with Vic Fangio but with Denver. He's older though and had success in Philly as an advisor in 2022 and may want to stick where he's doing well.

 

Looks like Penix has risen to the occasion and thrusted himself into the starting lineup.

And when the Browns compare him to their QB, they have Penix envy.

 

See, I told you the Browns had Penix envy. They’re switching QBs too.

 

It’s too late, the Raiders and Giants already have the top two picks in the bag.

 

Don’t be too certain…

Giants could beat the Falcons this week with their new QB starting his first game ever.

Raiders could also beat he Jaguars this week.

I don’t know how the tie breakers go for draft picks, but the Browns LOST to both of these teams.

Now, you also have the Panthers, Titans and Jaguars at 3 wins… The Browns managed to beat the Jaguars, so that could bite them if they can’t win another game.

Didn’t play the Titans or Panthers this year.

Three weeks to go, I still have hope for a top 3 pick at this point. I don’t see them winning another game. Away against the Bengals and Ravens, home against the Dolphins who have been playing better lately.

It would be the most Browns thing to do at this point though, is win one more meaningless game to put them down to like #6-7 and out of the running for a top QB. That’s probably he best case scenario though, since Cleveland is where QBs go to die…

 

I was hoping he would be a Vikings he would greatly help the defensive backflied imo

The Bills have an opportunity to do something on Sunday against the Patriots that no NFL team has done, ever.

If the Bills score at least 30 points, it will be their ninth consecutive game doing so, and they will be the first team in NFL history to score 30 points in nine straight games in one season.

Four previous teams have had streaks of nine or more games with 30 or more points, but those teams all needed to do it over two seasons: The Rams scored 30 points in 14 straight games in 1999-2000, the Patriots scored 30 points in 13 straight games in 2010-2011, the Broncos scored 30 points in 11 straight games in 2012-2013, and the Patriots scored 30 points in nine consecutive games in 2006-2007.

With Josh Allen having an MVP season, the Bills’ offense is something special, and it may be something Super.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said this week that running back David Montgomery needs season-ending surgery. But Montgomery isn’t conceding that his season is over just yet.

Montgomery has not been placed on injured reserve, and he said in a video posted on the Lions’ social media that nothing is official just yet.

“We don’t know. We’re kind of working through the logistics right now. Things may change,” Montgomery said.

Asked if there’s a chance he could play again this season, Montgomery answered, “I hope so.”

Montgomery was hosting a coat drive for needy families in Detroit on Tuesday, and he said he’s going to keep a positive attitude and remember how lucky he is.

“I’m good. I’m alive, I’m well, I can breathe, my son’s healthy, my family’s healthy, I’m good,” Montgomery said.
The Lions have had a brutal run of injuries and are desperate for some good news on the health front. Montgomery being able to play would be very good news in Detroit.

 

Question how effective would David Montgomery be?

 

Depends on the surgery... by season ending, I assume that means regular season. Some surgery only takes 3-5 weeks of full recovery. In those cases, rehab isn't nearly as difficult. If the Lions have a bye first round, they will end up playing their first playoff game in 4 weeks. I could see a situation where a necessary surgery could have a full recovery in 4 weeks. Again, it depends on the surgery.
