I'm starting to believe they'd play better if they benched Watson and started the Otto Graham statue that's out in front of the stadium.......

 

Hah!!!!! Blocked FG returned for a TD. Our special teams have put more points on the board than Watson has all year.

 

Watson - 168 yards passing and 5 sacks

Please remind me of why they keep starting him......and why they ever cut Deshone Kizer if these stats are acceptable?

 

Because the coaching staff and management cannot make decisions without putting them in front of Haslam first.

If Jimmy doesn't learn to step aside, you guys are fucked.

 

I think Watson played better last year when he only had one arm......

 

And they continue to match milestones ….but not the good kind….and the last team to do this, was it the Browns?

Just an observation after Thursday’s game…..

Winston is putting this team on his back. He is giving his 100% every play. His pre and post game comments are all about firing up his teammates and unifying them. It isn’t about personal glory. It’s about one game at a time and let’s get that win today.

Watson played 7 games this year. We haven’t seen any of this from him. You didn’t see him on the sidelines praising or chewing out his teammates. You didn’t see him try to carry the load even once. There is no “will to win” in his play.

Watson has shown he isn’t the guy. No motivation , no team chemistry , no heart, no desire, no ability left in the tank. I’m not sure I can watch the Browns next year if he’s still on the roster. Admit he sucks, eat the remaining guaranteed paycheck and cut his sorry ass.

 

Just do what the Giants did with Jones and be done with that guy. Sometimes its worth eating the money and moving on.
