    Some thoughts on yesterday.

James Franklin needs to fire his OC. You got one of the best TE's in the country. Two first and goals and you come away empty. Inexcusable. And the two QB system was stupid, Allar was more effective a runner than Pribula. The Nittany Lions are too light up front on the DL they got man-handled. Franklin is a choker, nice guy, but come on man what is your record vs. top teams? BTW I cannot stand Ryan Day, don't like his snarky look.

Jaxon Dart, holy fuck, what a day. Tre Harris did not play and he still put up 515 yards.

Huge letdown by Texas A&M for all that talent, S.Carolina ran their ass over. Stock up on Rocket Sanders. Stock also up on TJ Sanders, dude is a beast in the middle. Again Nic Emmanwori is a stud. I did like the CB tackling of Will Lee but he had a dumb penalty. The Freshman QG for SC is a big dude, future is bright for Lanoris Sellers. Several times A&M rushers, mostly Scourton missed Sellers, too aggresive.

Malaki Starks gave up a TD. He also got baited inside and Jakobi Jackson ran wild. Two really bad plays by a guy considered a top 15 pick. Florida was depleted in the secondary but they played their asses off, that is what rivalry is all about.

I like him, but I am not spending a first round pick on a RB again if I am an armchair GM. But if the value is there after they get a WR and a DL..........

Day 2-3 RB's who impressed me yesterday. Rocket Sanders, Kaleb Johnson, Omarian Hampton.

Watching replay of Oregon Michigan . Surprisingly Oregon's D looks better up front . Hammond is a game wrecker and Burch is back I can see flashes of his former self. Really like the Oregon WR group . Even though Michigan is missing Will Johnson the Ducks are really good route runners. Colston Loveland IS the Michigan offense, not sure how far they go flip-flopping QB's.

So there are only 2-3 teams who need a TE, and they need so many more parts. Would Colston Loveland be considered for Pittsburgh? He is obviously a superior route runner and can help in the run game, just throwing this out there. I was NOT impressed with Grant, not spending a first rounder on him, I like Walter Nolen better. The Oregon LT is interesting to me, Ajani Cornelius. Is it crazy to give up on Jones, or why not try the big fella at OG and resign Dan Moore Jr.?

Here are my list of guys in the first round I like. We have a long way to go, but after watching 10 weeks of football these are the players I like.

    Mason Graham
    Mykel Williams
    Walter Nolen
    Luther Burden
    Tetairora McMillan
    Emeka Egbuka
    Isiah Bond
    Will Johnson
    Ben Morrison
    Cam Ward
    Tyler Booker
    Coleston Loveland

    Honorable Mentions:

    Carson Beck
    Jalen Walker
    Jaxson Dart
    Nic Scourton

This Simulator I fixed the trenches. Ignored QB because I think Kahn will wait for 2026. Really like Rocket Sanders so he was a great pick IMHFO at 139. Nolen Slid into the top of the 3rd and I did move back a few spots to move up to insure I got Everette. Xavier Restrepo has flown up the board on PFN 80 spots, I knew it was coming, so I could not draft him when I normally could. I stuck with Harris and then I added a playmaker in Tez Johnson, doubling up on WR. I have seen Moore play twice, he will make a roster on ST. So I had a choice at 27. Booker or Loveland. Booker just makes more sense, I am telling you he is a pro bowl guard in his first year. Late in the draft I had a shot at Bringingstool TE out of Clemson. He is a tweener not really known for blocking so I passed on him. I was able to land Swinson, and I passed on Shemar Turner. I really feel The Steelers need another edge rusher. I still took my man Alfred Collins in the top of the 7th. Membou is another interesting cat, I think he might stick as a swing Tackle, which I think will be a need come April.

Was watching Texas vs. Florida, it got out of hand early, switched to Miami vs. Georgia Tech. Wow what a game, gotta knock down Cam he looked rattled by the Yellow Jacket defense.
Watching another upset Ole Miss is pounding Georgia, really like Walter Nolen. Dart is throwing darts, pun intended. and running for big chunks with a dinged ankle, kid is a baller.
Will watch LSU vs. Alabama, lots of guys to watch, but I only have 2 bang the table guys right now, Swinson OLB, and Booker OG for where they draft and value, need.

I like the Alabama Secondary and Jalen Milroe played really well. Nussmeier is a career backup QB at the next level, wouldn't touch him until late day 3. Shedur Sanders had a good game, moves him up in round 1, good, I don't see the fit in Pittsburgh. I want to see Allar bounce back, but Purdue isn't really a great test, maybe a lesser opponent gets some confidence back. How about Indiana, now there is a TEAM. No super stars or high draft picks, just a bunch of guys that want to win.

Pro Football Network, some notes here from an armchair observer.

The rankings for 2 guys I liked a few pages ago, stock is way up.
Kyle Kennard, up over 100 spots
Harold Fannin Jr. up 65 spots
    Xavier Restrepo up 60 spots

After yesterday it's obvious we need more explosive players in the trenches or guys who eat up blocks. I still say Alfred Collins day 3 is a good value, really like his game. Currently rated as a 7th rounder, like the 2 above, I bet that changes.

We have to beat the ravens and Chiefs before we start getting a feeling beach.

Well one thing is I’d rather have Mike Williams than Dionne Johnson . PFF graded Preston Smith very high so maybe no drop off with Highsmith out. Plus I think we get Herbig back. Reason I mention these players is because pressure is how you beat Jackson. Browns were in his face all game

Cam, Larry, Patrick and Roberts/Wilson are going to have to stop Henry so Watt, Herbig and Smith can get after Jackson.

Impressed with the Ohio State receiving group.
Colorado is just blazing fast, outclassed Utah with speed and athleltic ability. Not even sure who gets drafted first Hunter or Sanders.
Wow, Allar and Warren are really freaking good.
Cook for Mizzou sucks, but he's injured. Nussmeir blows, that is all, he ain't got the cerebral to play at the next level. (game on the line, need two scores and he's farting around itching his nuts ignoring the clock)
South Carolina has some studs on D, three of them I am rated high on. Emmanwori, Sanders, Kennard.
Up next is Georgia vs. Tennessee. Will be interested if the Bulldogs can shut down Dylan Sampson. Beck needs a bounceback game to regain some draftstock momentum. .
