Chargers @ Steelers game thread

Steelers in good field position, let’s see them punch it in the endzone

Looks like Anderson has been benched or dinged up

 

Herbert on sidelines, Heinke coming in…. Think they’re going to rely even heavier on the run

Nice job!!! As a doubter on fields, I must admit, he has looked impressive today

 

Think that TD to Austin may have won it. Hell of a game from Fields

 

Now this is what I like to see with how the Steelers finish a game… run right at them and tell them, you can’t stop us… great win by the Steelers

 

Well, 3-0. Great final drive. Pounding the run against that Chargers D.

The Steelers are......not too bad.

 

I know the smart play is to take the knees…but I would have liked to get another TD there lol Steelers won the war of attrition, Charger stars were dropping like flies

 

I wanted another TD, but I’ll take the nice win.

 

I’m glad I was able to see fields live in this offense, besides for the INT he had a really good game today.
Really liked how it functioned today. Especially in the 2nd half that defense of the chargers is good too.
The Steelers defense was great all game especially in the 2nd half.

 

Browns are going to lose
3-0 . Broderick Jones zero penalties good for him I’m a fan always have been . Darnell Washington played really well pancaking people. Zach Z Frazier is the real deal

 

I can’t wait till we get our 1st team offensive line together and see them jell and see what this team can do. I agree, Frazier looks and plays the part and seems like a beast. The way the defense shut down the chargers in the second half was impressive…. And just like most teams that play the Steelers, the Chargers leave worse for the wear

 

8.66 points a game given up by the Steelers defense. Really hard to lose when the other team doesn’t score much

 

I finally got to watch the game on NFL replay. That second half was a thing of beauty. We really kicked the chargers asses. I really like this seasons team. If we can stay relatively healthy this team has what it takes to win a Super Bowl.

 

Somewhere along the way, the offense has to get better. Justin Fields is infinitely more physically talented than Pickett is, but this is the same result.

I think this is a playoff team, but they'll need to beat an offensively gifted team at some point and if they get 10 or 14 points down in the second half, they won't win unless the offense can step up.

I do like Justin Fields and and I'm rooting for him.

 

I wasn’t crazy about getting Fields when we first got him. Number one he quit my Bulldogs and went to sleep with the enemy Ohio State.
Number two he played pretty crappie with the Bears.

Tomlin and Author Smith have done a great job of coaching him. I believe that the offense is improving every game.
This defense is playing better than the 2000 Ravens so far
If the offense just protects the ball this defense can beat any team into submission
