@Campbell this is a thought for our FleaFlicker leagues; Should we have a waiver period (likely 24 hours) for newly released players? It strikes me as odd during those tough last cuts that I could cut a decent player and 18 minutes later the first team to notice can just scoop him up, at zero cost and with no competition. Is it just me?
It's always been this way, so there won't be any change to it. It's similar to the open of FA post-draft as it falls into the space between the first cut and the open of the waiver wire. The best way to get ahead of it is to try and work deals ahead of the deadline.
