2013 was the last time the Canadian Dollar was higher, so before we started the leagues on here.

 

Pretty sure it happened to be above the US dollar for a period in December of 2017 or 2018.

Either that, or there was a sharp jump in the exchange rate of PayPal, because I believe it was one of you or RT's championships that had me paying slightly over to get it correct across the border.

From a quick glance at the divisions...

@LAOJoe gets caught in a family feud with @Silver&black and @KTerry .

@RicoL8 , @Minnow and @beachbum will make a division of wildly different strategical philosophies.

@DSmail , @Willie and @Stevie G have a division that looks like it will be a blender set to crush ice.

And @RTTRUTH and I get smashed into a division that just so happens to have the guy with the number 1 overall pick to kick this off, @IrishDawg42 .

The conferences look balanced and, on the whole, this looks a very competitive alignment.

 

I don't think I have ever won a #1 pick lottery!! I've been playing fantasy for decades... I'll take it!

It's actually going to be a very tough decision....

If there's someone you just have to have, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that I would trade this pick.. but it will have to be worth my while.

 

I'm far enough down the line that the price would cut me off at the knees for the next several years. lol

 

I’ve landed 6th overall.

If I’m well prepared that’s probably as good a spot as any.

Im willing to talk trades with whomever though, if anyone is angling for someone particular in the 1st.

 

Honestly, there isn't a bad spot. Even in yearly draft leagues, so much relies on how well a player's team does, if a key player or two get injured, etc.. Getting back to back players in the top 15 overall, in many cases over shadows the #1 pick that doesn't get another one until 24.

This league will be no different, in fact it will be so much about money management come end of the year and into the following years, that this first draft will be a distant memory pretty fast. Managing dead cap is bound to come back to bite someone.

This is going to be a fun league. I think I am dropping out of a couple of local online leagues I've done in the past, just because they were easy and they needed another player. I'm going to concentrate on the two money leagues I am in, here in Ohio and the 4 leagues on L4SN. Any more than 6 and I can't give the leagues the time they deserve.
