Some might feel this is a reach, but a bigger Corner who will transition into a Safety in the long run. You can't teach size and he has the ability to cover bigger recivevers and win 50/50 balls thrown his way. His biggest weakness of the off-man coverage will be a point of work early on but overall, he has the potential to cause issues in the secondary for teams on a consistent basis including matching up against WR1/WR2 on the outside.
Eagles will wait a bit to consider a trade down. Also just woke up and checked before doing anything else.
A slight trade down from #9 would've been nice, but other than that, loving how this draft is panning out for my team. Pretty much exactly the guys i would've wanted at this point. By adding Skoronski & Tippmann the days of Fields getting beaten to a pulp every week are hopefully over. + a legit #1 WR in the trade, now we will see exactly what Fields can do. Going out for a couple of hours but will be back in time for my 3rd round pick.
I was wondering when he'd go. Good prospect, but as a Falcons fan Peter Konz is still a bad memory as far as 2nd round centers from Wisconsin go. For that matter, former GM Thomas Dimitroff seemed to like drafting players from Wisconsin for a while, and NONE of them panned out.
Had I not taken Nolan Smith I was standing pat and sniping you. But who knows how the dominoes fall between then.
