I don't do enough of these to know how to play this really. I could pick a guy who is a clear value pick and would normally do it easy, but just yesterday the Dolphins announced a starter for next season at this position and it would just be wildly unrealistic(imo) to suggest the Dolphins pick this guy now. So im gonna go another way...

Don't love this pick, feels a little high so apologies if ive done the Dolphins a disservice. Tried to trade down a bit from here but it didn't work out. But Raekwon Davis' good rookie year is a distant memory and he was bad last year. So the Dolphins try to land a dominant 0 tech.

 

Seattle will take Zach Charbonnet, RB - UCLA

I don't know if he's a fit for Miami, but I can tell you for sure that getting him in this round was my "plan B" if I wasn't able to get Mazi Smith for New Orleans in the first round.

Yeah. Also the heat may legit kill his fat ass which is another concern heh.

Also the Dolphins are pretty well set at multiple positions. Could've gone G but i really didn't see the value at #51. ILB was a need pre FA but they signed David Long who may have been the biggest bargain this year. CB was a need then the traded for Ramsey. Didn't wanna draft slot corner at #51 with so few premium picks.

He was the top target for RB for TEN. Might have been my pick at #41.

This is the domino effect... TEN trades down but still gets Will Levis. The extra pick gained in the trade gets traded down again, for ... Saquon Barkley. So the urgency to take Charbonnet in the second round is gone, and TEN is able to trade down yet again from #41 to get a late 3rd and late 5th.
