Yeah. Jurts has missed a lot of throws today, some really bad, but he's also dropped 3 deepshots into the bucket of a bucket.
How the fuck do you line up off-season when you’re directly on top of the ball? Theres stupid and then there’s you should be cut right now.
Im surprised they sent Fields backs out there with 4mins left in a 2 score game. Maybe he said you stuck me motherfuckers so im playing.
Prob does tick a lot of boxes tbh. Ran the best record in the league very close, QB had another good game........and they lost heh.
There was a lot of media noise that we shouldn't overreact to Santos, look at what Gould has done since leaving etc. But Gould himself admitted he needed to be cut to get the kick in the ass. I don't think you can sit here on multiple weeks now of missing XPs and such and think we are ok at that position. Full stop. Not saying to cut him now, but bring in competition and he shouldn't be the starter next year. He had a nice recovery, but there's a reason he was cut before. He's not Adam Vinatieri or something. It's been pretty ugly, but that does seem like a fixable mechanic. I'm not overly concerned about it, but it is frustrating to see every time. The kid has toughness no question. He was also limping off the field and some coach came up and told him to get down rather than burning the play clock, because Fields is the kind of guy to play through it. If he was able to go, I see no way he doesn't argue loudly to get back out there.
Well the only thing that can be concluded from today is that Flus and Getsy are all in on the tank, which (given that the Peckers games are done) I'm ok with. Broncos won today so we lose out and we get the #2 pick and a potentially massive haul. Regarding Santos, I'm not ready to part ways yet. I remember what life was like with a trash kicker. Santos is going through a slump but he's also been super reliable over the last 3 seasons up until recently. (Edit: I wouldn't mind one more win, specifically spoiling the Lions playoff chances in Detriot)
