Oline was like the parting of the Red Sea We need to fix the oline so Pickett can be what we drafted him to be. We need better cbs to cover receivers When Watt gets back we’ll get to see if the defense is any good.
Good : moved up in the draft need a stud OT Bad: the Steelers are 2-6, even with Watt they’ll be lucky to win 5 games this year. Ugly: AJ Brown is good, But the Steelers made him look like the second coming of Paul Warfield.
Ugly: When you build your team ass backwards this is what you get. The have put the priority on skill players for the last 5 years rather than building the trenches. Don't expect things to get better anytime soon either. Why? Because our coaching staff is to caught up in popcorn/splash plays instead of fundamentals. Look no further than the penalties they have gotten of late 2 illegal formations today following 2 illegal procedures last week. Canada will be gone in the off season and when nothing changes again maybe Tomlins seat will finally start to get hot.
Anyone tired of watching Pickett miss open receivers and turn the ball over yet? I am. What a terrible draft pick.
Mitch had 2 TDs and 2 INTs when he was benched Before today Picket had 2 TDs and 7 INTs but started again today either way they have issues everywhere not just the QB position hence to reiterate, the Steelers problems are many and they are great
The offense is dead with Mitch on the field. Pickett moves it, he just has to get the rookie jitters out of his system.
No they reached but then several Steelers fans said that already. Sure there is a group that loves him most likely Pitt fans who are still giddy their hometown boy got picked. Bad Oline and the Dline is nothing special paired with the wrong QB and you can say welcome back 80s Steelers football. Oh and a story on the depot says Fitz petitioned hard for Jalen hurts to be drafted. Wouldn't matter though this coaching staff could kill Joe Montana's career. .
One thing IMO. This season is lost and many felt that coming in. Even if Trubisky starts and, with his all-pro abilities, directs them to a respectable record, they still have to fix so many things. Oline, D line, secondary, etc. If Pickett is the guy, he'll learn and be better as the team improves. If not, they'll know earlier.
Where you been, bud? It's week 7. Why showing up just now? You'd think that if he were "responsible" for those wins, we woulda heard from you earlier in the year. Kinda feels like you don't believe that, either.
We were leading the Buccaneers when Pickett got concussed. So your logic makes no sense. If Trubisky started that game the Buccaneers would have won.
