I'm in there are a lot of rookie wrs looking to become their new teams #1even those in a sitiuation with a not so great QB will see enough volume to put up some points.

That will happen. At least one on the Steelers and another one, maybe two on the Steelers.
So far Pickens and Austin have been turning heads in practice. I think the Steelers should entertain trading Dionte Johnson and using the trio of Claypool, Pickens and Austin III as their starting WR core.

I remember when the prevailing thought was that it took 2 to 3 years for a rookie WR to acclimate to the NFL. Not so much anymore. Skill sets they used to learn in college they're now learning in high school. Learning how to apply those skill sets to their play on the field used to happen in those first 2 to 3 years in the NFL. Now it happens in college and they enter the NFL ready to step in and play at an NFL level. They're still separated by natural athletic ability into tiers but, the highly athletic WR's now come into the NFL as a rookie more prepared to excel.

I believe there’s been at least 4 each of the last 3 years. There should be at least two this year (London, Burks) with enough target volume to all but guarantee top 30 finishes even with spotty QB play and run heavy offenses and there’s enough other high upside guys in good situations that I am IN on this one.

In 2021, two passers finished with 40 or more throwing TDS.

In 2020, three passers finished with 40 or more throwing TDs.

In 2022, there will be no less than 4 passers that accumulate 40 or more throwing TDs.

I can see this happening with my crazy imagination and a little luck. Mahomes, Brady, Cousins and Allen... throw Rodgers in there too, maybe, just maybe a Herbert and Stafford can tickle that also. I forgot about that Wilson dude in Denver also... it could happen.

Barring injury, too much surrounding talent on offense, a defense that will give him extra possessions and they get the Giants and Commanders (twice each) and the AFC South for him to end up in the lower half.
