Hot Take #1

Trevor Lawrence finishes the 2022 season as a top 10 fantasy quarterback in standard scoring leagues.

 

Bullshit! No way... not a believer and that team sucks, lol.

There’s so many other good QB’s in the league right now, and Lawrence’s supporting cast is still a bit suspect, so I don’t think there’s much chance of him cracking the top 10.

Otoh, he is still a supremely talented player with a better cast than he had last year and a significantly improved support system from a coaching standpoint, and the Jags will probably still be playing from behind a lot, so that’s enough positive variables for me to say it’s not a “no chance in hell” impossibility.

 

Hot Take #2

Zach Ertz will finish the 2022 season no lower than the fourth highest scoring TE in standard scoring leagues.

 

I'll pass but I'm closer to in than to BS.

Pass. Too many really good TE's that I like ahead of him. Plus without Hopkins for the first six games,I think defenses will pay more attention to Ertz.

It's not out of the realm of possibility however. At the midway point of last season the Cards looked like the best team in football. So if they can get back to that, I'm sure Ertz will get his share.

PASS - He'll need PPR points to stay in the top 4-5.

 

Bullshit. Off the top of my head, I can come up with three TE's who are a lock to finish higher than Ertz (Kittle, Kelce and Andrews). That means that Ertz will have to play better than every other TE in the NFL.

 

Ertz is gonna get volume if he stays healthy. He will see a lot of targets. I just think there are some other lesser talented TEs that will see as much if not more and that makes guaranteeing Ertz a top 4 finish hard.

If I were an NFL GM I would want Ertz on my team over Schultz, Kmet, Gesicki, Fant, and Freiermuth but fantasy wise those guys will all be a lot closer to him, some maybe better this season.

 

I think you're calling bullshit and not passing here, but I just wanted to double check first...
