Trade talks were moving well, so well we discovered the hiccups on both sides just couldn't be remedied as it was a deal breaker both ways for similar reasons. Nice offer. I just couldn't do it.

You could have convinced me to drop one spot without destroying the bank. Didn't try there lol.

 

This class is an anomaly, a lot of talent, but no one stands out as a sure thing.

 

I feel really good about 5-6 guys, as good as many other draft classes and enough to give up picks in what should be a deeper high-end talent class next year. The other league kinda showed that already though. lol. But I feel a drop off of guys after that, at least IMO.

I highly doubt it, on either end.

 

I think the year we went 8 straight RBs then DJ Moore, Sutton, Ridley we rolled through the first round pretty quick.

I still love that draft, because I was constantly trying to trade up and being rejected. But in round 1 and 2 my guy slid right to me at 12 & 24 ().

Never mind that those two guys were Calvin Ridley and Hayden Hurst who at this point neither really amounted to a ton. I was still damn excited that day

 

One year we rolled through the 1st and AJ Brown was my guy I was hoping for but I still wanted to trade down for some "Value". Held us up for a LOONG time.

No. I had a real offer. That other time I didn't. I honestly considered it.
