The value on him is ridiculous at this point. Wanted to take him with both Colts and Jets earlier but we both took Safeties earlier. It might take the right DC, but this guy can be a weapon.
Our spreadsheet lists the original owner of a team in the "<from" column for picks that changed hands in real life. (Thanks @Lyman !) There are a couple of picks that have actually changed hands more than once already. The most interesting one is 6-27. The Buccaneers first traded it to the Jets in 2020 to get Steve McClendon just before the trade deadline. The Jets sent it to the Eagles for Joe Flacco last October. (Weird situation there. Flacco was already with the Jets. But they let him become a free agent rather than resigning him. He signed with the Eagles. When the season started, the Jets needed a QB and traded a conditional pick to Philly before the trade deadline to get him back. He didn't play enough snaps to trigger the condition clause, so instead of a 5th rounder the traded pick dropped to this pick in the sixth.) A week later, Philly picked up Kary Vincent (Jr) from the Broncos. I'm not sure what the clause was that ended up making this the pick (and I don't care enough to dig in and investigate). The Eagles had already committed their own 6th in a conditional situation in the Gardner Minshew trade, and it would be a few more weeks before this pick would become the one they got for Flacco. But somehow this one ended up being the one assigned to Denver. So... Bucs to Jets to Eagles to Broncos.
Texted Joe again. @Tim I have one more trade agreed to in L4SN. After that I’m down to 30. My bro might have hustled me. But I’m betting on past Hooper performance + past TEN TE production = worthy starter.
