It might mean they're back over for a regular season game quicker than the 8years it took last time. Which in turn means i will fork out a huge amount of money to go and watch them. Because when it comes to the Bears i am a mug.

Lets get the end of season rants started. Though there will hopefully be a "Everyone is fired" thread to talk on tomorrow.

    1. I honestly don't think this season was wholly unexpected. Most of us figured in this range for the end of year record. The embarrassment that is Nagy's offensive "genius" delivered how it should deliver. This is what you get when you pay for it.
    2. Last year I thought the expanded playoff spot and the extra game were good. More football is good. I was so, so wrong. Aside from just increasing the number of pointless games, and it basically gave Nagy the "I am a playoff coach in 2020" and bought him another year. It's all diluting, the 2020 Bears do not deserve to be recognized as a playoff team. Jefferson, who had a fine year this year, did not deserve the single-season franchise record. Quinn did beat the franchise record for sacks in the right number of games, but had he done it this week, it'd have been more stat inflation.
    3. Honestly, I know everyone is over the moon on Fields, but I am starting to worry. By no means am I saying he's a bust, we've got a good 2-4 years to figure out how bad or good he can be. But this season with what we actually saw? As Hoge and Jahns said pre-season, you had to "squint" to say Mitch was going to be great and with Fields you don't have to squint as much - I feel like I'm squinting a lot. He has raw talent. So do most all of the QBs that come out of college. He's got the right attitude I think. And he was massively hamstrung by Nagy's idiotic scheme. But what we have actually seen to this point? It's nothing to get super excited about.
    4. I was super wrong about Quinn, what a year. He, Roquan were definite bright spots for me this year. I will miss Hicks. I will not miss A. Rob and I really thought I would. Monty was solid, and Herbert was a nice surprise.
    5. Jenkins was playing late in the game, did anyone notice him? I was half asleep (literally - covid booster) but the few times I saw him, he seemed to be playing ok?
    6. Fuck this team, Fire everyone, that's about all I have at the moment.
