The good: not a whole lot this week. Najee had a few plays today and hopefully there will be more of these each week. Boswell needing two scores Bos did his part and kicked the longest fg in heinze history nothing to sneeze at The Bad: loosing to an afc team The bad start (first half) for the offense again The oline has got to start genrating room for the run game The ugly: injuries both pre game and during the game. If watts lingers the D is going to have a rough time of it while he is out. Loosing a player to an ejection for spitting The defense inthe second half sure they made a good stop here and there but Carr and the raiders abused them in the second half.
The D was good in the first half. Only nine points given up Diontae J is really a good WR. The bad: You can't have 9 minute disparity in time of possession and not expect the defense to wear out. Same thing as last year in the last five games. 39 rushing yards won't get it done. The ugly: Injuries. Hope they get some guys back
I read a report that Watt has a chance to play this week, but Alualu has been placed on IR. Tough going for the Steelers D.
Having Watt back would be big, but Bush and Haden being out are big as well. The Steelers can't be as varied on defense without them. Losing Alualu to a long term injury is a big loss, but likely the one of the bunch that can be handled the easiest, especially if Tuitt is getting close to retunring. The groin club needs to get back on the field in the next week or so. Without those 3 guys, I can easily see a loss to an improved Bengals team and the season starts to get away from you pretty quick in this league.
More good: Friermuth and Dionte Johnson both have not dropped a pass this season. Roethlisberger has requested that Friermuth be more involved in the offense.
You mean like, taking the ball from the center, avoiding the rush and throwing the ball to open receivers?
Ben knows he's better than himself and feels even a TE can do his job better. Relax, it was just a typical gidion72 post...
