I had been waiting for this thread to get started but it seems no one els is going to start it. I hope im not stepping on toes by stoppping it and I do hope we gets lots of involvment in it not just week 1 but in the weeks to come. The only rule (and i cant inforce it so its just a request i suppose) no counter post or arguments agianst someones good, bad and ugly. You want to debate a point they made do so in a dm or start a seprate thread. The idea being this thread is for your opinions which are your own and should be safe from ridicule. If that ends up meaning im the only poster here so be it but hopefully many of you will take part in it. The Good: the Steelers went into buffalo and came out with a win. Anytime they win its a good thing The ravens lost (always a good thing unless we need them to we to help us out) The Browns lost (see above) Watt hangs out all season working out but not in practice and then shows why he deserved getting paid right out of the gate The bad: while there are things the steelers need to improve in honor of their win i will post no bad The ugly: the injuries to mostert, fitzpatric and even Juedy im never a fan of injuries that take good talent off the field.
The Good: Jean que for starting this thread! Football season is here! Agreed a win is always good, even better that it’s inter-conference and against a “Super Bowl contender”. Steelers defense Steelers 2nd half offense No injuries The Bad: Steelers 1st half offense. The Ugly: Any olineman facing Cam Heyward’s bull rush. That thing is sick! I’ll chalk up the Steelers oline issues to youth and lack of playing time/practice. It’s not in the bad or ugly yet. Same for Ben. We will see which Ben shows up more this season.
The good: dominating buffalo The bad: having to listen to outsiders act like buffalo actually was in the game The ugly: the injury bug that has destroyed the ravens roster.
Thanks Jean. Good: A win on the road vs a very good team. 9 games at home and 7 on the road remaining is a good tilt. The D. Allen is a good QB that's getting better. No one will stop him but he was contained. That's all we can ask. The punter, Harvin. One off the side of the foot but the rest was great. The bad: I'll just say that some things can get better. New offense and there'll be growing pains. Four rookies started and that's gonna show. Good second half though. Ugly: I hate the injuries too. Hate to see talent have to sit out. Guys work hard to get there and having to ride the bench is tough.
