Yep, karma done busted Connor's shit talking ankle. This fight was going Poirier's way regardless of how it ended. Connor had to get him out early or else the minutes on the clock become an anchor that continues to slow McGregor down. If this fight made it into the 3rd round (highly questionable that it would have), it likely ends with Poirier flattening McGregor for the second time. Kind of a shitty ending, but after the kind of trash talk that McGregor decided to engage in... yeah. Tough shit on that break, mouthpiece.
