This feels like a heckuva 3rd rd pick...I was just considering maybe trying to move up. You saved me the trouble.
I drafted him pretty high myself in our previous mocks. With the early on run on QB's, OT's and Edge Rushers, the DT position is a sweet spot for some real good pickin' if you need that position filled on your football team. Good talent available in 2nd and 3rd rounds... which is real nice if your a DT.
I mean Seattle is painfully desperate for draft picks. If that wasn't the case, I gotta assume they sit pat instead of trading back and simply select him in the 2nd.
With the Bengals wanting to protect both Borrow and whoever they have at RB when the season starts, he seems like a great fit especially towards Borrow's blind side. When I saw he was there for the third round, he jumped to the top of my big board.
I know. I rep'd Seattle in the GMO. I thought the trade down was a smart move.....I was planning to do the same thing with Seahawks, but then Nick Bolton (I think) fell to me and I changed up.
I love day two of this draft class -- It's such a varied and deep group there are guys still on the board I would have considered with my pick in the second round. I think it will be fascinating to watch day two -- for me probably more so than day 1.
I’m taking care of a plumbing issue for a tenant so it will be awhile till I can give a lengthy answer. So, let’s start with this - Can you make an argument for him over Barmore, and what would that argument be?
I couldn’t make the pick at 4:30 in the morning when I was on here at two AM before falling asleep. That was good RT asked me to leave him a pick
Hopefully Tim doesn’t snipe me. I’m looking at Tim’s and Gil Brandts draft boards and the players that I have picked line up with where I’m picking them if these guys know what the hell they are talking about.
