I'm wondering if some of the fans pushing him higher up the board see him moving to the left side?

 

I would keep him at RT for us, we need a new bookend since our last attempt was insane lol

Ha! It actually would have been quite fine anyway. My list of guys I liked in that spot was longer then the number of slots I traded down but the Giants were also short on picks in this draft so I was happy to make the move and build some extra depth in day 3.

The guy you traded up for was also on the short list. After playing fast and loose with the medicals at 11 and taking Phillips, I felt like I needed someone I was going to be real comfortable with as a plug and play early contributor in this spot. Humphrey feels like that for me. He can come in and compete for all 3 interior line spots day one and see where the "best 5" lands for that groups of young guys.
