Check out the schedule and rules on this link... https://live4sportnetwork.com/forum/threads/2021-gmo-schedule-and-rules.32743/#post-743132 Dont let it intimidate you, we can help you along the way... it will become clearer as we move along and you get a chance to observe how others handle this. Tim will and is better suited to answer your initial question, I just wanted to chime in for now and let you know Im listening. I was new at this also, but caught on as we dove into it (if I can do it you sure the hell can, lol). I have some confusion and a few questions myself, to be honest, but I know we will get through this with some help. You can also check the archives to get a glimpse into how it looked in the past... that may help. I'll be quiet for now as someone will be along later today to help you if you have any specific questions. Good luck , Dan and sorry Im not too helpful at the moment. I need coffee!
Group emails were sent out to all of the managers today. Individual emails will be sent out tomorrow.
My brother knows. I just gotta get his ass active. Also I might not be too active until Wednesday as my schedule just filled like crazy out of nowhere but that should be fine according to the schedule.
I figured you would be after your brother about it, but I appreciate you letting us know. If we haven't heard from the rest of those that signed up by Monday I will post their names and see if anyone knows how to reach them off the boards.
Yep, and this year I have some work to do. Actually, I take this offseason as a sort of vindication. My big theme going back to 2017-2018 was that the coaching staff was nowhere near where it needed to be, with head coach Dan Quinn basically saying "a coach is a coach" and throwing inexperienced guys into whatever position needed to be filled. The team imploded. Gosh, I'm shocked. With your coaching career on the line, you put a high school coach with just two years of college coaching experience in charge of generating your pass rush. How could such a genius move possibly go wrong? Trading a fifth round draft pick to get Bill Musgrave onto the offensive coaching staff may have been an eyebrow-raiser when I did it, but in retrospect he would have been a huge boost for the real life team. And the team's cap mess.... wow....
Two questions... first, how do we get to those Google sheets? I don't see this year's version listed as shared in my Google Drive. I do see the big one with all teams over on the rosters page, but I get the sense that I shouldn't mess with that one. Second... does this exercise have any provisions for post June 1 releases? My understanding is that the downside to that approach is that real life teams don't actually get the cap space until June 2, where we'll be totally done with this exercise long before then.
