True enough. By it’s very nature that position doesn’t get a whole lot of pub. I’m guessing he makes the probowl next year. That would be nice Truth.......he is in the 2nd year of a 4 year contract....and he is only going to get better.
I appreciate you going easy and not saying halftime heh. Your probably right Everton....Bears Season ends today.....The Saints will March Are you a Blackhawk Fan ???.......I'm wondering about Alex DeBrincat.....I have a Hockey Draft tomorrow night and I think I will take him.
And actually, one consolation way of looking at things today is that were the Bears to somehow win they'd only be punching the Packers ticket to the NFCCG haha. Virtually a gaurantee i wont stick around to the end of this one. As for the Blackhawks, i am a fan but only in a very loose sense, i hardly ever get to watch hockey sadly. Honestly, any other Bears fan on here would give better advice than me. Even baby, i mean she is Canadian(kind of).
Nope. Blackhawks all the way. Grew up a Habitants fan coz I'm French-Canadian and all that but it's Hawks for me!
Other than the guys with a decade plus as the boss on their resume most failed attempts have to rebuild their image as a coordinator for 2-6 years to earn another go around. Your McCarthy’s and Reid’s immediately move on, but not many do really
Unless you’re Adam Fuck Face Gase, then some green and white wearing rube will think your firing is a resume booster.
Touché! And WTF huh... Forgot though that he got a little help from Peyton Manning believe it or not. Peyton recommended him. Bet he regrets it now
7-3 at the Half is kinda surprising. Bears should be up if Wims catches that ball in the endzone. Nobody likes converting 3rd downs.
Easy Prediction The tenor for the Browns/Steelers conversations this off-season are going to have a whole different feel on these boards. lol
I'll do my best to prove you right. After all . . . The Steelers couldn't even beat a practice squad.
Exit Interviews Let's take a quick glimpse at the future for the teams eliminated from the playoffs. Colts The Colts, Titans and Steelers are probably the 3 best prepared teams to make a return to the post-season in 2021, based on their respective overall rosters. However, both the Colts and Steelers may have the additional question of how to address the quarterback situation next year. For now, Indianapolis has a rock solid defense that can become a longstanding, top tier unit in the AFC. Couple that with a solid offensive line and running backs that can continuously churn out yardage and you have a recipe for success. If they can catch a break and land a passer that can provide long term stability at the position within the next two off-seasons then I see no reason why Indianapolis can't become one of the more feared teams in the league. Seahawks Schneider staying on as GM doesn't bother me nearly as much as how I hear zero chatter regarding Pete Carroll getting the hook. There is enough talent on the roster for the Seahawks to dig out tough wins, but they find ways to come up short in clutch situations. This is a team too far set in their ways that needs an overhaul for the entire coaching staff. This would have been a really good off-season to show Pete the door and go after a coach like Arthur Smith to put his stamp on an offense that has the tools to rack up points immediately. There's always a strong possibility for a team with a quarterback as talented as Russell Wilson to make the playoffs every season, but this team is becoming stale under Pete's leadership. Football Team The Taylor Heinicke story is cool and he may have earned himself an opportunity to get a serious look as the starting option in 2021, but that would definitely be more the result of no other viable options being on the roster, and limited opportunity to sign/draft a quality passer this off-season. That's the only reason I see the chance of the Football Team making the playoffs again next season tied for the longest shot (along with the Bears) of all the teams eliminated in the wild card round. They have decent enough skill position players, and a workable offensive line, to field an offense that can complement a Ron Rivera coached defense enough to win some games, but without a quarterback that can bring them back if needed an 8-8 at best season feels like the most realistic scenario. I really like what I have seen from rookies Chase Young and Antonio Gibson this season and if the Football Team continues to draft well they can position themselves to be on top of an NFC East that has a lot of issues. Titans So long as Tennessee can keep the ground game running and the defense humming their post-season chances will remain high. Tannehill is good enough to get them back in ball games they fall behind early in (having A.J Brown aids immensely), so the necessary balance needed is present. If I were to try and make some ridiculous kind of early prediction which teams would win their division in 2021, I may have the most confidence in the Titans. Bears If Chicago rolls into 2021 with the same coaching staff combined with the same quarterback situation then they would need some kind of fluke scheduling to make it back to the post-season. Some would argue a wonky schedule may be the only reason they made it in this season, and that could be fact. Regardless, so long Chicago is comfortable with coaching/front office mediocrity then the on field product is going to mirror it. Steelers After week 15 I suggested that the Steelers needed to pull Ben and go with Rudolph if he struggled early again in week 16 - The Steelers opted to ride it out with Roethlisberger, he turned it around later in that Indy game and Pittsburgh sat him for week 17 before starting him in the playoffs, which resulted in early disaster followed by 'stat book heroics'. If Roethlisberger doesn't retire this off-season it's only going to further set back a franchise that will soon be chasing both Baltimore and Cleveland to be the top dog in the AFC North. If Ben does retire then Mason Rudolph would likely become the immediate starter, and that would probably be an improvement for the overall offense by week 8 of the regular season. Pittsburgh has a solid enough overall roster to draft and sign the necessary pieces to rebound and return as division champions in 2021 but the path to the post-season is going to be much harder than it has for a very long time.
