Former Children of Bodom singer and guitarist Alexi Laiho died at the age of 41. While the death of EVH will certainly garner more press, it should be noted that Laiho is considered one of the greatest guitarists ever to play. Melodic Death Metal and it's fans mourn his loss. I will be sporting an Alexi avatar for a while.
