I only remember that game because I was an Eagles fan. I don't remember the detail and I'm not gonna watch the game again.

#9 and #4 were my numbers! I play those numbers in Keno. lol!

I wanted to wear #10 because of Fran Tarkenton... but was denied.

Had to settle for the Tommy Kramer #9....learned to love it though.

When i lived in Pittsburgh and played football for my jr high my number was 42. When playing in youth league football in hawaii my number was 69 (got big cheers from the military crowd but it wasnt until years later i understood why) and number 16. I was a wr and special teamer for most of my playing time did get some work at inside linebacker.

I loved being on the kick off team runnning down the field and hitting somebody.

    Yes.

Tarkenton was my first favorite player when i was just a grade schooler...

I became Browns fan after Gary Burley (Bengals) snapped Tark's leg and forced his retirement....It happened to coincide with the Kardiac Kids, and being from Ohio, I never looked back....I was 10

Still love the Vikings uni's though.

assuming this still won't change the narrative for next time either and you just run with an invertebrate opinion.
things "got weird" for the 2007 Patriots wins when they weren't running the score up. it's fun to say i guess, whether its true or not.

I'm not saying there was any rigging or anything that year. Just that when games are closer towards the very end there is more chance for controversial calls to be noticed and possibly be more meaningful. It took until the 2nd half of the season for anyone to start to figure out the Patriots offense in any way when the Colts did but even then you still gotta beat a really good team. The reason they couldn't run it up as much anymore was because teams were getting better at game-planning against them once they got more film. 8 of their final 11 games were actually relatively close, including playoffs.

It just dawned on me so I looked.

The AFC West (with the exception of KC) doesn't have a single team with a winning record nor can any of the other three end up with a winning record. We've been making fun of the NFCE all year and somehow missed the AFCW is almost just as putrid.

Four of KC's 14 wins (soon to be 5 of 15) have been in the AFCW.

    In all fairness . . . Four of their wins have been @BAL, @BUF, @T.B. and @N.O.

Afc west could finish with two teams at or above .500 though the nfc least cant even get 1 team there.

The NFC least could wind up with a 6-10 winner as champion

    Man...

At least they can't 'win' themselves into the three spot.

Cincy winning sucked because the Eagles likely pick 6th instead of 5th now. However I fully expect that if Alex Smith doesn't play that the Eagles win anyways and the Giants or Cowboys get in the playoffs.

If the Eagles and Cowboys win it creates a path for Philly to fall all the way down to #10 in the draft.

Urban Myer should be the next Lions coach if he is interested in an NFL gig. There are a couple other teams to consider, but if he were to jump on one, I thought Detroit would be interesting.

I'm trying to remember which lie of his that would conflict with most, wanting to spend more time with his family or needing to step away because of headaches caused by football stress. I'm just glad neither of us believe those lies, and inherently wonder what coaching position he might be considering for his next un-retirement.
