And can we just call it like it is, the Defense has thrown in the towel. You got pushed around by the fucking Lions! Only good receiver on their team is out injured and you give up 400 through the air!!! A pass rush that doesnt do shit Fuck this team!!!

Anthony Miller running out of bounds like a pussy instead of squaring up the DB and putting a move to get extra yards and keep the clock running. Fucking WIMP!

There’s no reason to let Nagy finish the season

    It benefits no one

First time we've lost 6 in a row since 2002.

In 2018 we were actually very realistically close to being 16-0 during the regular season. Had a 2nd half lead in every game and either lost by a FG or coming up 1 yard short of a tie.

In 2020 we are actually close to being 0-12 right now. Barely won those 5 games. Could be giving the Jets a run for their money.

I opened up game pass to watch the game right now, and it helpfully showed me the “highlight” of the Lions go ahead touchdown. Now I’m going to read this thread to see what happened heh.

There are people on this world that will call you a pessimist, but you are 100% right. Those games we’ve won were all “ugly” outside of the Oanthers were the anemic offense was in the lead the whole way.

I’m really glad the game pass ruined the game as I was about to sit and waste a good 3 hours of my life.

You’re worried about three hours? And you have wasted how many years watching the bears?

Less than the number you’ve wasted turning your brain to mush and being generally useless.

Pathetic. They come here and tell us how to support our team. Then kick us when we're down. Then bitch about us to the mods.

We're definitely doing something right on this board.

    It benefits our draft position.

That's the bright spot here, guys. Right now this team is sitting roughly 12th in draft order. Lose out, and the new GM has more to work with.

I've never said those words before as a fan, but... I genuinely hate Pace and Nagy that much, that I'm okay with losing out if it means those two are fired. If that's what it's gonna take. Because they've got to go.

Cant forget the blind demands of respect...

Yeah, that VV guy got insanely hypocritical last week. Caught him on a Vikings thread trashing the Bears after lecturing us all about not being so down on our team. Big wuss.

I’d feel better about draft position if I trusted this team to...

    A. Hire a competent GM to steer the ship in the right direction.

    B. Have that GM hire a competent coach that can develop players as well as coach in a game.

    C. Have said players consistently do their job and not be turds.

I don’t trust this franchise to do any of that. Draft position means absolutely nothing to me.

    This is from Brad Biggs:

If McCaskey is going to consider sweeping change — starting at the top — then he would be seeking a new president. That means finding a new title and role for President/CEO Ted Phillips or sending him on his way. If McCaskey is going to make a move of that magnitude, what good is axing the coach and general manager right now? He would need to identify someone at the very top, perhaps with a football background, to help chart a new course for the franchise. So firing the coach and GM, or one of them, doesn’t accomplish much with four games remaining if a move at an even higher level is in the works.

But this team appears broken. This is what happens when you leave a very good defense exposed for three-fourths of a season. It is beaten up and isn’t the same defense it was when the season began in September. It has been on the field too long and can’t maintain the same kind of effort it did. The defense is paying the price for two years of a horrible offense, and now as Nagy finally is getting a few things corrected on offense (not fixed but improved), the defense appears shot.
