I was so glad we didn't just settle for the long FG at the end. We took that shot to A-Rob. That's the lesson learned from the Chargers game last year. As far as the play calling the rest of the game. Yuck.
This, and I will give him the call for the amazing pitch and catch to put us in range. But most of the game you can't say he was great, nor the offense great, and especially the oline.
One thing. Foles needs to get with receivers on back shoulder throws. Where he is going to put ball depending on how they are being covered.
Can an entire football team be Bi-Polar? Since changing names seems to be a thing now how about the Bi-Polar Bears?
I love that the Bears won. And I LOVE watching Tom Brady lose. The narcissistic, spoiled child didn't even know what down it was. I just realized I've been taking my shots at him and the broadcast team on Twitter, instead of here. I'll copy and paste to save time. This is really the only meaningful reaction I have to the game at the moment. I'll get to the rest tomorrow / this weekend. Long break before the next game. Cheers, all! _________________________ Joe Buck and Troy Aikman didn't pleasure Tom Brady all game just to see him lose. They must be inconsolable. You spend all night cradling his genitals, and then he doesn't even know what down it is? Guys, you can do better than this. You don't need him. Tom Brady is so mad about this loss, he'll probably run another national ad campaign calling himself an underdog. Or have the whole team sign up for his quack doctor and buy his book. Definitely make some passive aggressive comments to the media. Just Tom being Tom. "Tom Brady is so clever - no lead is safe with the ball in his hands. He can engineer anything. Watch him go to work". "Tom Brady didn't know what down it was". I'll remind everyone of an awfully inconvenient truth: NFL players get career-ruining negative reputations for the exact same antics and behaviors that Tom Brady is praised for. Beckham Jr is still trying to shake the diva label from doing less than Tom Brady does per drive. Curious, was anyone screaming at Tom Brady like he'd killed someone, after he had no idea what down it was at the end of the game? No, I guess not. Weird, since Tom jumps down everyone else's throat just about every other moment of the game... (regarding Brady's eye roll after being sacked) Anyone else remember guys like Odell Beckham getting labelled a diva because of reactions like this? Someone catch Beckham rolling his eyes because of a bad throw, and there'll be articles about it for months. Brady? Ah, just being him. You do you, Tom... you narcissistic child.
LMAO Comments were Epic dline. I think being the spoiled petulant child has a lot in common with another high profile figure but that's for another forum. Since he is upon the pedestal it makes it easier for guys like Rex Ryan to lick his feet.
Cults, man. Tale as old as time. I cannot tell you the pleasure I take in this. The Tampa / Tom Brady fanboys are lobbing pebbles while they retreat, and it's beautiful. One guy is genuinely trying to defend Brady's failure to shake anyone's hand / show any kind of sportsmanship as, "Him just not wanting to get COVID. Being cautious in a pandemic". For real. Like, for real real. Tom Brady - the guy who flaunted COVID regulations to the point where the NFL almost punished his new team - was just being a good citizen. It's a beautiful thing.
I can imagine being down in Fla. Enfuckingjoy!!! Another game I came in late like the first three, but this game about the last 4 minutes of the half. The only game I watched completely was the fourth game. Go figure huh? I know what I need to do. Nagy hasn't a clue but I do. I was listening on the way home in the first half on the radio and they were saying that play previously to the Brady sneak that Nagy should have challenged that play that it was a very bad spot. I checked through the game threads and didn't see anyone comment on that. I'm thinking Brady with an accurate spot wouldn't try to sneak it. I have to watch the game replay somewhere. that drive ended with a field goal.
That's the best end to a game i've seen in years. First Brady's Alzheimer's kicks in and he forgets which down it is right at the end. Then he storms of the field and doesn't shake anyones hand after the game when they lose lololololol. Brady is cut from the exact same cloth as Erin, a diva little bitch.
I hate Thursday football...but that was fun to watch. Bears defense is good. It's not great but it's good and it will keep them in games. It's just a matter of the offense doing enough. Last night they barely did.
You wanna kick off a thoughts thread buddy? I could but it'll be later. Lot to talk about with that one!
I wanted to comment on it but I was on a delay for a bit at that point so the moment was kind of over by the time I got to it. But yeah, it looked like a bad spot but it wasn't clear on the replay so I wouldn't want a challenge there. It was bad watching them spot it. They originally ran to a spot almost 3 yards back, then took another step forward, then another. Then I think when the center got to the ball he moved it forward some. At the snap it was like a foot away from the first down marker.
