The NFL likes screwing the Steelers

The league has decided to reschedule our game against the Titans to later in the season. This should be forfeited and all games where COVID becomes an issue should be forfeited. Even if the Steelers are the COVID team it should be a forfeit. I don’t think the league thought this through.

They should have added an 18th week for any make up games. everyone at least gets 2 byes during the season.

    So logical and simple.

That's why the NFL didn't think of it.

An extra week sounds good on the surface, but likely wouldn’t be enough.
The league has said they have contingencies in place for extending the season if necessary and we might see that happen. I think it’s only going to get worse from here unless the NFLPA agrees to a hard bubble. All players and staff sequestered in a hotel for the remainder of the season. Only leaving to practice and play games. That’s the solution that doesn’t see the Superbowl in March!

I don’t understand how they could find the virus so late in the week for the patriots and consider it still ok to play this week

Give me the cheese. Now your titans are in danger of missing a second game. If they give the bills a forfeit W, do you believe that it’s fair to the Steelers. Remember that there’s a good chance these two teams could be fighting for playoff seeding.

It's getting to a point that I think the NFL is just going cancel the whole season. I was fine with how they handled the Steelers-Titans match-up but this is getting out of hand.

I say 2020 NFL is over in no more than 3 weeks.
