Dzien dobry! Is this the most talented team Mike Tomlin has led since he became the head coach? I'm talking about both sides of the ball. The defense he might have had to start with was maybe better but I'm not sure and the offense has to be better now than ever. Doesn't it? This has to be the best team he has had. I'm ready for the year to begin! Chlusniem bo usniem!
I’m ready for some football. Hopefully we get a full season with no injuries. If this team can stay healthy it is a sure thing is the AFCN and as good as any other AFC teams to make the SB.
It's not the best running back he's had since both Bell and Bettis were his. Antonio would have been his best receiver but maybe this group is better? Ben is past his prime and I don't think this offensive line is the best he's worked with. The defense may be good but is it the best he's had? I'm not sure about that. Is there a way we can do some math on this? I'm curious now just how good this team stacks up to some of Tomlin's others.
The defense is the best at pass rushing, coverage and creating turnovers that Tomlin has ever had. Harrison and Polamalu were better maybe than the Watt and Fitz but the rest of the players are definitely an upgrade over his SB teams. This defense played with zero offense last season and still looked better than any other defense in the league.
It might be the best all around roster he's had. I don't think people realize how much talent this team has and how bad the luck was last season. With a healthy Ben all year they probably win the division and make a run.
Minkah would have been traded to a different team that offered a chance for a higher draft pick. Ben going down made us that team.
I don't think I've seen a D as good as the 08 team from the Steelers, not to mention most of the NFL. They were so good and the numbers back it up. As a total team, I'd like a younger Ben but this is a good team. The jury is out on whether it's the best.
